You do understand it's the other way around right? And earthdawn is not really a generic fantasy game. There's actually a lot of meat on that bone. And they created that world fromt he "Background and Laws" they had for Shadowrun. Earthdawn comes out of the background notes for Shadowrun....

Let me get this straight: SR magics beats ED magic in terms of power but is still very limited (or used to be)? That means ED magic is even more limited? What the fuck?
I got my limited edition without even realizing it's a limited, because that was all that could be found anywhere at all . . Quelle surprise. *le sigh* yes, one of the people on the german official shadowrun board actually had to tell me to check if there's a hand written number under one of...
. Of course, I already did that on this thread with the Nadja Daviar train wreck, so whatever. Yeah, this thread with its 102 pages atm. I didn't want to spend days to find the information I was looking for. So thank you very much for bringing the info up again. @Nadja Davier's return: It all comes...
Does anyone know where the outlines of upcoming books have been posted? There are rumours about Nadja Davier reappearing in an upcoming adventure, more info can probably be found in one of the leaked freelancers board-shit.
Novels and the video game (which wasn't released by CGL) are a different breed than sourcebooks. So? Sourcebooks are also a different breed than net books. Waitaminute... I don't make a difference between PDF-only sourcebooks and hardcopy sourcebooks. That's it. The Manhattan-PDF is an official rel...
It has been released by CGL, thus it's canon (PDF or not). I'm not saying it's a good book or consistent with the setting, but denying that it's canon is wrong, plain and simple.
Which locations will be covered in this book? The thread at dumpshock is focused on the Atzlan-Amazonia war at the moment, but what other conflicts and cities did we agree on so far?
And hermit: enjoy the work as coordinator between here and dumpshock.
Now this is funny. Some of the people apparently got so angry at how poorly compiled War! was that they started making their own book . I know this particular phase of anger well, I went through exactly that when Unwired came out. There is a certain brand of Stockholm Syndrome that affects game fan...

I notice some common names. It was a full time job keeping track of just activity on Dumpshock. I can't see how many people will manage a dual-presence, so are people migrating? I noticed at least one mod in common (Caine Hazen) K. Caine Hazen has "Group: Former Moderators" as title at du...
Fuchs, you're an idiot. But I love your ramblings and your stubborn claims that you know the one real truth and everybody else is wrong. Go on with that! Don't care about facts that other people bring up! Make your own Truth!
