Of course, even that doesn't clear up all the issues with the map, like the missing countries. Most relevantly for the SE Asia segment, the kingdom of the naga just isn't there at all. Well, I only put country boundaries on the map. That's why the borders of Luxembourg are on it and not the SOX and...

I don't know whether this is useful for producing alt.War supplements for South East Asia or Asia in general, but I finished my map that shows the differences between the Almanac world map and an alternative world map I produced: http://shadowhelix.de/images/6/6d/Kartendokumentation_World_Map_Differ...

A question: My books are in Canada right now, but didn't Feral Cities have a bit in the initial Jackpoint login news dealie about Queen Caroline speaking out about a war having gone on in SE Asia for 8 years? That's why I'm assuming this stuff has been going for a while. What you mean can be found ...

@Fuchs: I have to ask because your negative view of magic already puzzled me back when this thread briefly turned to the SR-ED crossover. Do you actually like that magic is part of Shadowrun or is it more of a necessary evil to you, a concession to the zeitgeist? Maybe I got the wrong impression but...

Honestly, the fact that they are using the wrong name for the town isn't even the fourth biggest problem with this. The idea that the town is the name for the region at all is completely laughable. The Council of Marienbad was a silly setting anyway. The concept was something like pick a small area...

Maybe. But that was in bad taste anyway. And remember - this is an international forum, so i didn't know who you are. And i didn't have any context to work with. You might be right I usually don't tell World War 2 themed jokes around people from other countries. So damn you Stahlseele for giving me...

Loki, that was too far. And not ironic, just cruel and stupid. Wow, you are honest to god the first person in years that told me I went to far with a joke. Well making jokes about Hitler and the Nazis is a German "Volkssport" (common entertainment). I can see how you might think that I'm ...

And that's even before we get into the other problem, where the whole place is actually inside Bohemia, and the 6th World Almanac very demonstrably uses the current Western borders of Czech Republic, and thus the country does not extend past Bohemia in that direction and there thus cannot be a four...
