Re: Learning your Opponent or Why you don't use your best mo
We could then get rid of most feats like improved disarm and such and just make people wait for a disarm card. [br][br]I'd ask what the fighters are supposed to spend their feats on, but I guess that would just mean that we wouldn't *need* a fighter class. Which wouldn't necessarily be so bad. Of c...

Re: Learning your Opponent or Why you don't use your best mo
Why you don't use your best move first [br][br]I fail to see how penalizing subsequest uses of the tactic achieves this at all.[br][br]For the most part, having to keep track of more than about one modifier to anything becomes a big pain, and keeping track of a bunch of small bonuses each co...

Re: Fibull
Fair enough. I just thought a grig monk would make an interesting character. Re: Fibull
A couple things to note.[br][br]Yes, Frank said Sprites were unplayable, but it seemed like it could be made to work.[br][br]1) MM has SR:Yes, so it's not clear that a MM should work.[br]2) Grigs always appear in groups, so they're collectively at least EL 3 (with 2 of them).[br]3) A grig has those ...

Re: Character Sheets...
I made a human rogue in it just now with a 12 int, and I got 40 skill points ((8+1+1)*4). Of course, I think the interface is pretty hideous, so I'd probably not use it for that reason.

Fibull
So, in the vein of Ianuki, I thought it might be fun to look at how a less typical race would work under the rules.[br][br]So, starting with a grig, the tiny fey creature, here's what we get:[br][br]Tiny, Str -4, Dex +2, DR 5/cold iron, low light vision, SR 17 (+level, I assume), +2 racial to spot, ...
