I am playing dungeon's of dredmor again to see if I can win with a warrior or rogue, but somehow wound up playing a mage again.
Anyone else play the Pit? I have been thinking of picking it up, to support the genre if for no other reason.

So it turns out Diablo III's post game is less constantly bum rushing an end boss and hoping he explodes into awesome things and more like farmville. As a result, I don't imagine I will stick around much longer and am planning to move onto the Mass effect series. Any advice for owning those games. M...

I think they are the sunshine state. Just remember, Florida is a land of deep economic disparity. You are probably going to to the touristy part, where everything costs at least ten times what it should, and people are constantly going to gouge you. You might want to leave the touristy part to save ...

I might go back to Diablo III if they throw in a new act. I'm curious about what the deal is with Inferno difficulty now and the new legendaries, but I'm infinitely tired of running the same four zones. Inferno has apparently been nerfed down to a reasonable difficulty setting. Or at least my tanky...

Being a lazy warlord isn't that great and I don't know why Krusk keeps recommending it. Being a lazy warlord is like being a pacifist cleric. You can do it, and even do well because the underlying class is strong, but you will always be weaker than someone playing the same class and just picking the...

Low level 4E is a pretty grim existence, especially if you are just getting started. Generally, you want your character to fit into one of three categories. My at will ability is better than your whole class. At level one, you get one encounter power and one daily power. You will never actually use ...

I was getting ready to be a grown-up, and I saw that somehow-saw it for sure, for the first time in that lovely but somehow ancient spill of golden light flooding down the alleyway between a bowling alley and a roast beef joint. Ouch. I haven't had a date in so long even the internet is calling me ...

Thanks for the analysis shau. The armor idea seems cool so I'll do that. One question though: Why not Cause Fear? Two reasons: 1. You are a face stabbing cleric, not a holy symbol cleric. Your freakish stats mean you actually you actually use laser cleric powers pretty well, but you still want feat...

Just got back from CharGen. The bad news, I was told straight up that Battle Clerics use heavy blades and similar weapons. So no Rapier for me. I got a Bastard Sword since it seemed the least stupid choice available. I may or may not get a shield. The good news, we rolled for stats and I got really...

What level are you starting at? Being a low level laser cleric before divine power is pretty discouraging, although on the plus side you get to apply healer's lore to everything if there is no errata. You spend most of your time firing your at will and every time you do that you are going to have to...

Going back to good things in 4E, I rather liked the wisdom cleric I played right when Divine Power came out. It let me do something other than kill things, Astral Sign was good enough that I did not mind it was 90 percent of the actions I took, dailies were powerful enough to swing a combat the rare...

And then once you graduate from college you find that the only jobs that will take you are absolute bottom-level retail grunt work, and that people you know who didn't bother going to college have had enough time to work their way up 'bank manager', 'head cable guy', or 'courier who makes a disconc...

Just started The Hunger Games . Good stuff so far. Really, me too. Though I am kinda ashamed to admit it. Reading things published by Scholastic really takes me back. BTW, did you finish Stieg Larsson's series? I thought the last one was the best personally, but I think I might be a minority in that.

I don't think I have used the words mouth breather at all until now. So go fuck yourself and die in a fire. I am assuming that certain people are functionally retarded...
