Largely? By mitigating the risks. Mining in our world is dangerous in part because people make mistakes in ensuring mine shafts are stable or the people running the mines want to get things done as quickly as possible and so ignore various problems with blasting big holes in solid rock. Dwarves have...

You asked for it. So, a while ago I created a setting for a game, I called it Sarindor , which, as you can see, is a peninsula with desert on one end. That grey area on the tip is the land made uninhabitable a war with invading demons thousands of years ago. That big brown block is the wall manned b...

It's about dwarves who are isolationists because they are pathologically terrified of getting injured. Does that count?

Well, since we've been talking about Dwarves and there was an invitation I have been thinking on and off about Dwarves in a setting I came up with. Would you prefer I take that elsewhere or is an entirely incompatible view welcome here?

I'm not sure what you're talking about, laptop hard drives are super easy to get out, you just have to remember to take the battery out of the laptop first. Hell PC hard drives aren't that hard to handle either.

Stout halflings is a terrible subrace name. I'm a stout human but that's not a different subrace. It's a polite way of saying fat/large dude. This is actually a first edition thing, but not necessarily in the way that has been pointed out. I didn't mention this in what is out of my OSSR, which I fu...

Thief is good, it has very real problems but it's good and for free the price is defiantly right.

That said, as others have said Deus Ex is excellent, Tomb Raider comes highly recommended too, Just Cause is fun and crazy,

I gave it a try myself, and I made it... 10 minutes before my can pushed her way into my room (the door doesn't latch properly so I can't keep her out) and interrupted me. It wasn't so bad, I wen through a scene in my novel while I waited for time to count.
