It's a hard one. You need the narrative power to make your opponent act foolishly in order to simulate most of those scenes.

Mmh. I recently commented that the lvl 15 pregens for the last volume of an Adventure Path we're the usual shit, but the Wizard looked actively sandbagged*. I still think they did it on purpose. *His 2 8th-level spells. Polar Ray, ranged touch +6 for 15d6 cold damage +1d4 dex. The other is Iron Body...

No, it makes perfect sense. Generally speaking, people don't go around threatening authority figures or other people for that matter. It's a bad idea 95% of the time and you're only going to convince people that you're a colossal dick. No, that's real-world thinking, it doesn't work that way in D&a...

Grip Mastery is "change grip as a free action, instead of a Ready". I dont remember if spears have different reach-grips. Another use of Grip Mastery is stab with spear, then shift into staff-grip for +2 parry.

The only time I have a problem with min-maxing is when it creates a situation where there's some serious intraparty balance problem, or when a character's power level makes the type of story we want to play untenable. If we're playing a game where typical, Hollywood-style werewolves are supposed to...

Multimillionaires living in ratholes to avoid spending POWER is not a thing that should exist at all. MIllionaires should only live in ratholes under two circumstances: They're laying low, or they're part of the community. Neither is cheap, though. Laying low means you're burning false IDs and bribe...

Also, Pirates of the Inner Sea is ridiculously bad, even by PF standards (but still not as bad as Dragon Empires Primer). But on the plus side for team Paizo, James Jacobs has admitted that the core races are NOT all going to fit into a 10 point scheme in the Master Race Handbook.

I've been invited to a Pathfinder game and it has been suggested that a melee class might be helpful. If I were to do this, what's the least painful melee I could go with? 15 point buy, pathfinder books only with the exception of psionics. We're using errata generally so smite only does double dama...

Also, the whole "obfuscate anything from 4E with haphazard description" thing. So instead of Minor/Move/Standard we have a bunch of separate descriptions of the same thing. That's just pathetic. Which is amazing, because 4E's codifying of the turn into "Standard/Move/Minor/Immediate/...

One of these is a How and/or What, the other is a Why, which should never be a class issue in the first place. How can you not understand that, you drooling retard?
