Cypher System fails

I played this game using a virtual tabletop, so I never once had to do any of the completely unnecessary math steps. As a result, it became very easy to see the game's core mechanic. If you're not familiar with the Cypher System, it works like this: any time your character interacts with something, ...

So, did this asshole get banned from GenCon? It sounds like this person is talking about the ShitMuffin we all loathe and abhor. They mention that "Z" was nominated for, and won, 4 ENnies in 2018. http://www.ennie-awards.com/blog/about-us/2018-nominations/ Zak fits the bill there, though ...

Is there any place you can look up the court cases for any given court in the nation? I could use a resource on what the perfectly average and probably very uninteresting cases you would expect a low-level court to be churning through on a daily basis. In most states, that will be the county courth...

Well I'm glad we have SOLVED RACISM by finally getting a mediocre white guy onto the job. It was about time someone tried that. Now that's crossed out, what can we fix next? Actually, since white people are responsible for racism (at least in the English speaking world), it really is on us to fix i...

There's a strongly positive correlation between HD and CR and it isn't 1:1. An Ogre is 4HD, CR 3; a Frost Giant is 14HD, CR 9. In the sense that every monster has a positive value for both HD and CR, sure. But there are 1HD pixies that clock in at CR5. And plenty of monsters have CR > HD, instead o...

There's no particularly strong correlation between monster HD and monster abilities (nor is caster level particularly well correlated with player level). Without checking the MM, it's a safe bet that there are monsters which have strong powers/immunities and low HD. I don't know which ones are speci...

I don't think that's real. I've heard that some parts of Australia do get big "bird-eating" spiders, but I'm pretty sure they're not actually that big. I wouldn't put money on it though. It is definitely not real because it is actually impossible for exoskeletal things to be that large an...

Reve nods. "Right. Off we go." While Yellow provides covering fire, Reve and Felf use the knotted rope to climb in and out of the water on the near and far sides of the fence, respectively. Felf goes first, while still oversized, and provides a helping hand to Reve, and anyone else who's r...

While Felf is still engaged with the last lizardfolk, Reve takes the coil of pre-knotted rope from her pack and secures it to the fence barrier, before tossing the other end in to Yellow.

Once Felf is free, she comes over to stab the lizardfolk with her short sword, or haul Yellow up, as necessary.

Although it may draw attention, Reve will Enlarge Felf. Once the second lizard she's fighting goes down, they'll try to figure out what they can do for Yellow.

(How high is the barricade? And can they see Yellow from shore?)

(The chief's house actually extends over the water, which is a big part of why Reve suggested a semi-aquatic assault) Felf draws her sword, and rushes up to engage the two lizardfolk, trying to keep them pressed in so that Reve can slip by, and then, ideally, pivoting around the lizards and disengag...

In general, a healthy diet is preferable to supplements. Fluoride is a top one, of course, but other potentially beneficial supplements include:
Calcium
Vitamin D
Folic Acide
Omega-3 Fatty acids

Most of them are junk, though.

No, wait. We organize a peace conference. Get everyone in one place. Then, bam! Airship.
