Re: Skylord's Tears: A campaign

More versions of the Half-Dragon Class? Perhaps one that gives bard-casting, or one that gives size increases. Oh wait, I know, Dragons are just Kobolds that took levels in Half Dragon, Fiendish Brute, and some bull Kobold only prestige class that gives catch-up casting like Beholder Mage or Ur-Prie...

MrWaesel, you've really got to stop giving me such good setups with which to insult Crissa, I only have so much will power; sooner or later I'll end up getting banned.[br][br]Though I suppose you'll reply with something along the lines of "NOW WOULDN'T THAT BE A SHAME.", or possibly ignore...

Re: Skylord's Tears: A campaign

I support the idea of Kobolds as Energy Mages, assuming you mean Fire Mage and whatnot, based on their draconic patron's type.

Another alternative is something like Fate points you can spend to ignore an effect that would kill or disable you. Feel free to give them out on a per day, per encounter or per level basis.[br][br]It isn't hard to make SoD's be less immediate, you just have to be willing to actually make SoD'd be l...

I'm a new DM, should I allow a warlock or soul-knife?

Status tracks you need to get pushed down instead of genuine SoDs right off the bat.

Man I've really got to work on that Generic D&D re-write Ckafrica and I, and others, were brainstorming on.

Hey, wait a minute. It looks like that, as written, Rage Dice don't get added to Whirlwind granted attacks since they aren't granted by your BaB. That sucks and isn't what the Rage Dice restriction was meant to stop in the first place. Am I missing something here? Please tell me I am.

Re: Power Scale of Magic Items

...what?[br][br]Anyway I'm in favor of this rule because it, A, mildly dissuades players from making really stupid items, but, B, still allows a DM to keep iconic items and non-standard items balanced via treasure or trading.
