Well, a long time after failing at my last attempt to make a Tome PDF, I've decided to try to tackle the same damn thing again, with a different approach. I decided that I'd first try to nail down the style, and I think I've got something fairly good, but I'm at a point where I'd like some critique ...

I read through the rest of the lore, and didn't see any more obvious typos, not saying I didn't miss any, but I didn't see any. Don't have time to read the rules tonight, but I really enjoyed the lore. It's obviously not as thorough as an expansion about a specific locale or a preconstructed adventu...

No comments on rules yet, still reading, but I did find a minor typo. Either 'but' is an extra word, or there was another word after it at some point. The first colonists to Venus were unprepared for the migration of the plasma-entities from Sol, which occur according to irregular cycles, or the var...

As far as players actually wanting some for of rules for fighting with halberds in 2 meter square hallways for the purposes of 'realism', the 3.5 SRD has rules for "squeezing" which imparts a -4 penalty to attack rolls and AC. If you wanted, you could invent a less severe "cramped&quo...

There's probably a lot more people playing right now than normal actually. Just recently the Dark Souls community had its Return to Drangleic event, where people were encouraged to make new characters and play through Dark Souls 2 and do co-op and pvp as much as possible. It's actually still ongoing...

It doesn't come with a portable charger, but charging is done via usb-c, and any traditional portable charging battery with enough capacity/amperage should be compatible with it, though people have mentioned that their chargers can't keep up with intensive games like Breath of the Wild, which drain ...

The answer is yes, you can take it on the go and play Breath of the Wild on the train, for 2.5 hours.

I've been playing a LOT of For Honor (71 hours on steam, in addition to the 22 I had in the open beta), so I figured I would give a small update to my opinion on it in case anyone is still curious about it. I love half of the game, the other half of it is, unequivocally, trash. All of the 4v4 modes ...

I played chivalry, and enjoyed it (though I wasn't very good at it). Chivalry is definitely much more similar to the Half-Life era first person shooters that it evolved from. For Honor on the other hand is more similar to the lock-on combat of Dark Souls, or perhaps even fighting games like Virtua F...

For Honor comes out Tomorrow/Midnight/Whatever depending on your vehicle of purchase. I played the beta, and didn't honestly expect to like it. It doesn't play like the hack-and-slash game it looks like, but instead feels like a fighting game with combos, counters, guard breaks, important positionin...

When I sneeze, I get joint pain in my elbow, wrist, and shoulder. It's not particularly bad and it fades quickly, but it's weird. Should I be concerned? I will get incredibly sore arms if I have severe sneezes - particularly if there are several in a row. I know that sneezing causes me to tense up,...

Drones aren't going to go away. As with all things, as technology becomes more advanced more an more aspects of warfare will become automated. Give it a decade and you'll have killer ground-robots in addition to killer sky-robots. The issue is violence without proper oversight and accountability.

Surely there's a price where you would consider it worth to pay for a single episode, no? 1 buck? 50 cents? 10 cents? Plus the cheaper you make it, the more people you get willing to buy it. Steam is infamous for getting people to buy games they actually never play just because they can get so chea...

I (and probably a lot of other people out there) are still waiting for the itunes/Steam version of anime (and manga would be nice too) where we buy what we want when we want, and not be forced to either annoying ads in the middle of the product or full subscriptions. You want an a la carte storefro...

That's a bad fucking argument. There is no number or quality of advertisements that wont, in your words, cause "one single person on the planet" to decide they can't be fucked and to pirate or stream from parties who pirate instead. It's entirely subjective and there's always going to be s...

The point of the advertisements is to provide a tangible incentive for people to subscribe, in order to not get ads, while also generating at least some income off of users who will never subscribe, which is better than nothing. They do the same thing with restricting higher quality video to paying ...

Another option, if you wanted Dispelling/Counterspelling to be things that get done more frequently in a game, is to change them from spells into actions that anyone with spell slots can take by expending an appropriate spell slot. After that you could even package the ability to take that action wi...

In D&D3.PF you chop off a hydra's head by using the sunder action as if the head was a weapon the hydra was wielding. The 3e kraken, octopus, and squid also let you sunder its tentacles, but the pathfinder Cephalopods can't be sundered. So a quick fix to 3e would be treating monster parts as we...
