More notable to me was this: Tier, the Enhanced Role Playing Game, is a system built off of DnD 3.5 Which made me say "wait, you can still do that?" (and sell it, I mean.) Well, yeah, here they "created" Tormenta RPG, who is a worsened and bugged version of D&D 3.5. And yes,...

I think yes, they could represent a viable challenge, or a good character concept.

A "Fighter" with 11 "Feats" and focused on martial combat, with some spells to back him up when needed... yep, looks like a good idea.

All I know about Touhou is: 1.) Touhou pornography is the standard punishment for trying to download TTRPG books that aren't actually released yet. 2.) Touhou is the second-most common thing in Mario romhacks or fangames, next to actual Mario critters. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HEINn9froso htt...

Well there's this in Worlds and Monsters (pg 10). It was the D&D MIniatures Game that flicked the switch. Armed with a variety of miniatures - and more importantly, their stat cards - I started building encounters that looked a little like miniatures-game warbands...when we started designing 4t...

That makes sense, even more when all those pre-made rules (you know, not that ones that "you can convert this to that to play like D&D") point to miniature gaming. Hell, and even with that proof those boring people would not realize what is right in front of their faces. I'm done with ...

After seeing your spoiler, the best possible advice is "get better players". Are you from Rio? I can try to put you in contact with other players from here. EDIT: If you want to chat in huehuehue-speech, feel free to PM me. Nope, from Hellcife. Over the Edge. atmo bichona. =P :nonono:

DDC is a good "turnaround" of events: finally the "Holy War" has ended and new phenomena start happening! And Sekibanki looks like a good doujin material, with a good amount of hidden power and funny stories about Yukkuri heads; and a new favorite, for me, at least.

Personal problems with Toughness checks, independent of the system.

Something Simple

Hello.

I'm here today to ask a question: which games do you consider simple? What is 'simple'?
  • Easy to learn
  • Fast to play
  • No Toughness checks
So, thoughts?

That kinda happened/happens on some of my games, because i let people do crazyass things and the like.

Yep, we play online and no one knows each other on real life. That works wonders.

For d20, it is, because no Touhou character can be measured by its Stage on those games; a very good number of them would be level 16+.

FAST RPG. It remembers Risus (whence is VERY BAD presented) with a good damage calculation, but it's open as hell to create new perks.
