Alright, look, you can't reasonably balance a theoretical DexThrower>StrGrappler>DexMelee paradigm if the majority of the time DexThrower and DexMelee are the same fuckin' dude, which is what I was trying to get at with my post. And the vast majority of the time, they are the same dude. They certai...

While there are ways to run a dude out of Willpower from a distance, there aren't any ways to do that without spending a buttload of legend points You're forgetting about stunts, which let you equalize or even recover legend. A God's Honest for example costs only 1 legend and you can earn 2 legend ...

I just want to make sure I understand you correctly: In a game of fighting monsters intent on destroying reality, the optimal line of play is to *not fight the monsters at all*, but engage in extended spooky action at a distance? And the rules provide no means of reprisal whatsoever, and also allow...

Do I have to put you on ignore, or do you start talking sense at some point? A is always in that situation, because all meaningful opposition has willpower they can spend to make their actions useless. I've tried to be civil so far, but that just isn't doing the job apparently. It's probably best i...

A situation in which Dexterity has a definite advantage is not a fucking hard counter to a Dexterity character, you tool. It is when there are various options for building your strength and dexterity characters. For example, a grapple strength character could destroy a melee dexterity character, bu...

And most of that you can counter just by spending a legend point, right? I seem to recall that somewhere in Frank's ranting that legend points were a get-out-of-mind-control free. You can spend a willpower to resist the social influences I mentioned, but there are many ways to completely destroy th...

Then I can't take you seriously in being able to make any steps at all if you aren't going to fix the RNG. Throwing your hands up and saying "The RNG is totally busted, if you don't have a hard counter to their GTFO ability, you can GTFO" is only acceptable if you do in fact have a counte...

The RNG on "doing stuff" is so hopelessly broken that if you actually did write a difficulty chart it would have to make things impossible for the non-specialists or allow the specialists to cock slap the world. Even without specialization or an appropriate knack, a character who simply m...

With that extremely low standard thoroughly established, it is virtually inconceivable that Scion 2 won't get "released". But if you held as your personal standard for calling a game "released" was that "actual copies of it appeared on shelves in game stores, then Scion 2 w...

Anyway... I will be mildly surprised if White Wolf still exists in a couple years, so the threat of Scion mark 2 seems pretty low to me. It's officially on the list to be made. 1. No it wasn't (one of the most awesome experiences). It was decidedly average, despite choosing Artemis (obviously) and ...

And in spite of its flaws, it still manages to be one of the most awesome gaming experiences you will ever play in your life.

They are coming out with a Scion 2nd Edition in a couple of years. Just imagine what such a rocking game will be like when it has rules that make sense!
