Give 'em 20. It'll make sure they can cover the Ferryman charges for themselves and the inevitable trail of bodies we're about to leave behind us as we go searching for the amulet to tame the Kraken.

That was a seriously cool fight.

I'd not heard of Hawkwind before, thanks! I'm currently rather enjoying them. Have had them playing most of the day. :)

"Surprise, blizzard!" accompanied by "Rocks are falling, start everybody saving or dying" seems somewhat classic, though perhaps a touch more lethal than intended. You could start cranking up the temperature with the weather control machine to cause sudden flash floods from melti...

If we slide, it's possible we might duck or avoid the attack, rather than trading. I don't think we're going to be able to punch fast enough into the dark to get this guy.

One for a Throw though it's pretty risky.

"Tensed and ready for action."

"Ragged and torn up as if from constant battle."

"Eyes seem to glitter with determined resolve."

"Tangible aura of power."

Holy shit it's a mid-boss. Defense!

Vote for option 4.

Number 3 sounds too much like what happened when we encountered the Paladin in Usurper and tried to lie about being a member of his faith.

Keeping up as well, though my interest in Lovecraft as well as experience with the Mythos comes from a group of 5 poorly edited short stories that cropped up on thefreebundle.com and a few playthroughs of the v/n Deus Machina: Demonbane.

[Edit]

Missed a word.

So when it comes to writing history for a campaign book, 90% (or more) of it should stay in your personal notes, with only the bits that are relevant, say things the DM and Players will be directly interacting with/handling potentially many times over the course of an adventure, should be expanded u...

There are ninjas. There are probably half-scorpion/half-kool-aid man super ninjas. They all know we're coming.

I think this call for the Ninja Gaiden-approach (hopefully they don't have Ninja Dogs).

Yet another vote for the Demagogue's plan. Greystaff's (Take 6 Talents out of Nemesis, put a 2 Talent levy on the Timelords which will then go straight back into Avatar and Kwon's coffers) seems like it would end up doing more harm than good in the long run. I'm not sure how much influence the Order...

Mechs in MW4 would not self-destruct from heat unless you overode. No matter how high you pushed it, as long as you left the override alone you'd be fine. There was a MekTek mech for MW4Mercs that let you put five ERPPCs on it. It by all rights should have nuked you with one shot, but, hey. 5 ER PP...

Ignore the incident. If we give in to mad despotism now we probably won't live long enough to have a really awesome ninja-assassin duel with Mandrake the Magnificent Bastard later.

If we invite her in and give her carte blanche to come and go as she pleases while we're in our study at the palace it's going to look like we're carrying on an affair. However, we just *royally* pissed off the followers of Nemesis, so it's likely we're going to need her information sooner rather th...

Dungeon Siege 2, if you play long enough and especially into the expansion, basically becomes an exercise in putting together an MMO-style Raid group and micromanaging it in combat to prevent the wrong parts from drawing aggro at the wrong times. The effects of getting aggro don't really start to sh...
