Re: 3.5 Harm
This idea did surface prior to 3.5. I think the second edition optional rule was if you lose half of your fully healed HP in a single attack you have to make a system shock role or die or something weird like that.[br][br]Not that I disagree with the actual meat of the discussion. It doesn't change the effectiveness, it changes the creation cost though. Either by 75% or by 100% depending on if you mind switching gloves when you want to use it or not.

I might consider changing the name as it implies it is only useful for slashing and possibly piercing weapons, but the flavor text notes it works for all weapons. This argument was made (by a studly yours truly) earlier in the thread, and M countered that each curing spell level could act as another point of Fast Healing.

Re: Item Creation Rules and the Education of Thoth Amon
Well, that *is* a viable stance. If you don't feel that clerics are intended to be hobbled by their healing responsibilities and are compensated for it by being allowed to cast in armor, having 2 good saves, 3/4 BAB, turning, and combat magic to boot. Having to heal the party is actualy one of their...

You have to desecrate a place that was consecrated by evil in order to consecrate it for good. I think.

Re: Item Creation Rules and the Education of Thoth Amon
Assuming it stopped at only 1 point, it is better than DR 1/- because it works against elemental and spell damage. I would pay 2000 for DR 1/- in a heartbeat. DR purchased via armor runs ~5k per point, but you have the advantage of having armor that is less likely to be damaged via spells, special a...

Sure the feats are crap, but we are talking about 2 k to emulate twice the utility of a crappy feat and some change.
It was just an idea that might be more palatable then spending 13.5k!!![Smile :-)](./images/smilies/smileyellow.gif)

I have a wizard in one of my games who is interested in crafting some stuff. [br][br]I am all about allowing wizards to craft cool stuff. Frank,
I understand your position. I understand the reasoning.
In your games, do you allow elemental Wildshape to include elemental template forms?
Just becasue it is written that way does not mean you are not houseruling for sanity!
Just curious.

Nothing allows Templates (in general). Something allows elemental templates becasue the resulting creature is in fact an elemental.
Not that that helps you if your DM is a hard ass.
