Gotten over the stretch I knew by heart, now I can start voting again without having to think of ways to justify my votes without revealing metagaming spoilers. :) I'll probably still be withholding votes from hint options (good or bad) that I remember too well, since most of them are so random that...

Sleight of Hand would probably have been used to swap the drinks if we had it. Which indicates that there's definitely something wrong with the drinks.

Keep refusing.

Tough choice here. I agree with Mr Shine. The dilemma is whether to risk the likely Honor loss/Shame points in case the 2-on-1 fight is too hard. The way combat is structured in these books, Altheus always has the exact same "hit points" as all his enemies, so 2-on-1 is never good as they ...

I'm pretty sure there's a ward to be found in every one of those locations. The professor mentioned 6 wards, so 1 for each location makes sense. The problem is that the time limit indicates that we might have to forfeit 1 or 2 of them depending on how much time we spend, and there's no way of knowin...

I vote for the Three Broken Fingers Tavern, because we totally need to offer up a toast to those twelve corpses with broken fingers in Alcham Lugosh's deathtrap where we almost shared their fate (and actually did in some alternate/parallel timeline).

So the "hint" is a helmet we wouldn't have found otherwise? Huh. Yeah, the problem with the hint system in this series is that most of them are pretty random or arbitrary, with little clues to what the hero would actually do/think when the player may be thinking of something entirely diff...

Again, I figured that Apollo or Athena would be the most generally useful, but Aphrodite would be the most fun. So far I am not disappoint. Apollo gives us full protection from negative consequences gained from bad hints, which I do agree will make for a comparatively boring play since we can just ...

Wow, Cretan Chronicles.....very long since I last read these. And you guys chose someone other than Apollo, or Athena! Good luck on that, I see a ****load of suicides (due to Shame overload from crappy hints) in Altheus future! I vote for Mycenae, simply because that's the route I don't re...

Oooh, this is one of my favourite gamebooks in the series. Glad that I caught up before this is finished.

I vote to go with the woman.
