I've handled them lots of ways usually depending on how the setting we were trying uses them. 1) The "gods" are just like gods in our reality. People believe and have their "evidence" while others disbelieve and also have evidence. Players never found out one way or the other bec...

6) Doesn't really bother me. If I don't trust the GM to roll dice without being a dick I'm not going to trust them to do anything without being a dick. Sometimes I even just let the GM roll for me because she tends to roll super high and I tend to roll shit. I've never secretly thought she was cheat...

Since Hermes seems finished it shouldn't be rude now to check the message Ia received. Seeing this news about a circle Ia shuffles off immediately to check it out. Int 4 [Analyzing] + Occult 5 [Rituals] Assuming this seems to be the same as the circle at the murder scene Ia would recommend leaving t...

You call them "utterly baffling", I call it "Simplify for the bigger crowd". Less strategy/tactics was completely intentional because the previous Xcom are damn hard and your average player nowadays simply wouldn't bother with the old level of difficulty/complexity. So their inc...

He'll probably fight on instinct. He'll go all out, except that he'll probably be low on blood. Then he will not be able to heal much if at all so thats in your favor. since the prize is the gangrel's blood. The gangrel wants to be diablerized? Thats hardcore. I suppose what I can do is Vicc myself...

If he wants to die is he really going to fight that hard or is this more of a ritual? Are we sure he's that badass? Cheats: LIE and say you are possessing your bear. Do you have enough Vicc to let someone else take your place? Ia could probably win a duel. Or similarly Ia stands on the sidelines and...

FFVII blew everyone's mind because of the goddamn FMVs. That's why Square decided to focus on those over everything else in every progressive FF. These days the FMVs are trash leaving FFVII as just one of the better JRPGs.

Maxus wrote:And then Sony came out wearing pimp suits, strolling with the canes, and throwing hundred-dollar-bills into the air every other step and went, "THIS IS HAPPENING, BITCHES. IT'S ALL HAPPENING."
Sony has been pimp slapping M$ since the whole used game DRM launch debacle.

If you think your party has enough AoE lockdown you can go to the compound in the temple district. That's kind of a tough fight early game but you get one of the best katanas. It's the only good katana in the original BG2. Don't know if EE added more. If you are using katanas this is the one a pers...

After all his sacrifices and he was always the rightful king. But isn't one of the points of the series that there is no such thing as the rightful king. It's almost like the feudal system sucks horribly at creating skilled and competent and trustworthy rulers. Yes. I meant it purely from a legal s...

making the Iron Bank retroactively incompetent, and Littlefinger even more retroactively incompetent I don't think it makes either party look incompetent. The Iron Bank was never gungho for Stannis. It was only after a moment of awesome from Davos they decided he was worth investing anything on the...

2. What sort of numbers should I aim for as starting values for Thief skills? It just says "Here's a pile of skill points, go for it" without saying "A locked door typically has a DC of X. Most traps in the first area have a DC of Y." When I tested a Thief/Mage out, they died to...

Ia dumps the water and decides to try again later. Time to get to Elysium.

He'll amble in hoping he isn't the last to arrive which would be rather rude. He bows to Suzanne once he enters and stands off to her side.

Does it? Because the impression I got from the way people talked in New Vegas was that it specifically only affected the Mojave Wasteland, or at least the part of it you're in. The NCR all give the impression that they just want to control this part of the world, but if not then they'll fuck off to...

Yeah, it wasn't Liberty Prime, it was "CLEAN, UNIRRADIATED WATER, BITCHES!" that made it more epic. Clean water that didn't have rads in it was a much more epic, in the classic sense of the word, goal than "Take over New Vegas for assholes/yourself (who might be an asshole)". Pr...

Fallout 3's main story is more epic in scope than New Vegas, Strange because to me New Vegas felt far more epic with a lot more on the line than F3 but I can see why giant robot screams epic to people. The outcome of your actions also felt a lot more epic to me whether crushing the Legate in a duel...

Art is one of the things psychologists study to get insight into individual's states of mind . Particularly art they create. [bemused] No shit. Psychologists study basically everything humans create and do. That was my fucking point. If you could just study "art" (as if that wasn't an unb...

A mask is not a problem. I agree with that and all of what you said. He's not even completely masked either. The classic look has clearly visible eyes. You can add the Force Awakens to that list. People seem interested in Kylo Ren. I would have Charles Dance voice Doom. I don't know anyone else who...
