OOC: I think perhaps when we think "weapons" we aren't all thinking the same thing. Weapons includes explosives. Flamethrowers. Sure there are some amazing disciplines but that doesn't mean we should be allowing people to walk in wearing suicide vests. Perhaps a ban on certain items. Getti...

Ia has prepared for the meeting as he does most nights. He's calmed his beast with Armor of Diamond Serenity and he has Incorporeal Passage triggered to go off if he takes a health box of damage. He will have spoken to Max before arriving and asked Max to inform him of whatever he senses mystically....

At the safe house Id like to have the same setup as at Ia's bolthole. A deeply buried, encased in concrete, sarcophagus.

EDIT: Also a secondary crutch that instead of a blade has fire extinguisher functionality built into it.

Like Kaelik said. It is possible the lower level Mind switch(Not true)+Astral seed can perform the same function. It hinges on the spell description of astral seed. Also psychic reformation. In Pathfinder it doesn't even cost XP. Want item creation feats but not all the time? No problem. Want a feat...

Eberron specific apparently. Is one of the PRCs Primal Scholar? And is the spell Unfettered Heroism?

Pick a Road instead of a Path. Ia would happily teach his. Back in his day things worked a little different.

More contingencies. Ia has stocked many fire extinguishers in Verge's Transam, his boat and around our holdings and makes sure they are all replaced on schedule. They are one of the greatest inventions ever. I'm sure Verge's car probably also has a full complement of emergency supplies alongside all...

I think there's also a familiar focused PRC from eberron too, but I may be wrong. Or thinking of a special feature of the living spell focused PRC You're probably thinking of Daelkyr Half-Bloods (and their special class Impure Prince) and their symbionts. I remember there was some bullshit someone ...

It's in Blood Magic, it's the "For Storytellers" page-sized sidebar that follows the bit about how many rituals you get. I forgot about the three per thing. AH, let me know which you want to use. I'll have to take a look at Thaum, since apparently I have quite a few misconceptions. How do...

#Blicero, define "high magic" for me, because you and I are on a different wave there. Google can't find me a standard definition and I've never found rpg people to agree on one either. Yeah Ive seen it used one of three ways plenty of times. Magic is powerful (which is an argument in it'...

AH also said Blood Thaum has rules for using freebie/xp to buy more rituals, at a cost equal to level. As I understand it, you can start a second path as soon as your primary has two dots, because the second just needs to be lower than the first. He said he thought the Clanbook Tremere book did but...

Kel's done, I picked out the following rituals- Impassible Trail (level 2) Craft Bloodstone (level 2) Friend of the Trees (level 2) Illusion of Peaceful Death (Level 3) Defense of the Sacred Haven (Level 1) Dominoe of Life (Level 1) and dropped Protean a point to put it into Thaum instead so I have...

I'm done. Contingencies: If you give Ia a personal possession of yours he can Scry you in case of emergencies and you would be aware of this so you can also pass messages. EDIT: Actually a personal possession of anyone you care about. Contacts, Allies, Retainers etc. I have one for my retainer Victo...

It seems like everyone's biggest gripe with 5E is badass monsters being slain by skeleton archers so giving every monster of a certain CR or above immunity to non-magical weapons seems like a quick fix.

I haven't even read 5E so forgive me if this is dumb for some reason I don't know.

Don't forget to add any rituals of appropriate level for those characters that have Thaumaturgy. And Seth and Kel each grant 6xp each for skills but only skills they themselves possess and no higher if I remember that right. I'll add any equipment and havens and spend my last point and xp by tomorro...

The problem as erik pointed out isn't the cost per se but the lack of official alternate funding. Players need some sort of discount, or points set aside etc. that are specifically for the buying of these sorts of kewl but partly cosmetic effects. Like in WoD how some points must be spent on backgro...

I'm not able to dedicate nearly as much time as I'd like to this because I'm currently working about 12-16 hours a day (and getting far less than minimum wage, the perils of freelance work). But really, I'm still not sure which build would be best for my character. I was thinking of a semi-competen...

I didn't recommend them for their rules since you said you were going to MTP it. But there are nice hex maps, building icons and ideas to be stolen from Kingmaker. I didn't get too far into it before my modified Kingmaker campaign ended so I didn't get to see just how bad the rules were but it seeme...

So, I'm considering switching back from the Occult Library background to the OL merit, since I mostly want it for being able to advance thaumaturgy, and the switch would give me the points I need to up a background another point (I could raise Thaum 1 and actually start with The Green Path 1). Stil...

I was imaging bullshit fantasy plants. Venomblooms and Black Leebers? They grow where negative energy is strong. Or feed on blood whatever.
