Having a sphere at level 1 wouldn't be that bad a tease for dippers, especially if it is not Expert level. I wanted to mix a dash of the utility of wizardry + heavy artillery potential (thus the need for at-will), but I think it didn't mix well and it's too much. Maybe I'll give bardish casting to ...

Maybe spheres (plus some spell adaptation ability) would be a better fit than the Spirit Shaman mechanic. Hrm. If you were to include Spheres, then maybe having some SLAs at the beginning when Spheres cant' just be dipped for easy would be alright. Spells like Shield or something minor, yet general...

I didn't get that ...even in the ethereal plane part.

What I meant to say in a less long-winded way is that you should rest in a bed made out of rusty used needles lamb-man. You useless twat.

Don't worry, I'll join you Lamb. I'm equally as useless.

I'm a dumbass and will respond to this pile of useless questions. Alcohol is toxic to my brain. (1.) If a Spirit Guide tethered to a 10th-level Spirit Shaman gains a +10 untyped bonus to all Knowledge skills, does that merit a bonus to its Challenge Rating? Why would having a bunch of knowledge skil...

I fucking hate the fanbase a lot more than the book. At least you can drop the book off into a puddle of shit without getting a second-degree murder charge.

Couldn't you just contrive of a game that is like Age of Worms without actually, y'know using the adventure path itself?

Start people off on a reasonable level too. Though I'll join either way because I typically don't got shit to do on Sundays.

To be fair, on the whole "Brawl" issue. I meant it to mean that they don't really tend to use weapons and instead to punch the living crap out of each other with their bare hands.

Well it does have Haste and Fly. So while it's not really worth specializing in. I can't ever see myself just banning it outright though, and being forced to use higher level slots for that kind of shit. So how about them occult classes? Spiritualist is a shitty summoner, Kineticist is bad, but I si...

Neat idea though. I'd want America clerics to be able to fire eagles from their bodies. Made out of fire and lightning.

The reason why Kaelik is getting up on your ass about Tier lists is because they don't really accurately gauge what is actually optimal or not. The classic Rogue vs. Factotum debate comes to mind, as despite being tier 3, the factotum is inferior to the Rogue in pretty much anything that would matte...

Acid, I've sort of feel the need to pipe in and echo Orion here. I'm not actually interested in your rules (They need work, to say the least), but your dwarf write up is bizarre enough that I'd actually be pretty interested in reading a similar write ups for other races. Very well then. I shall pro...

Here is a rough recall of my First DMing session about 4 months ago. I want to see where I fucked up somewhere. I decided to try my hand at the gestalting system, considering that we had a DM who was fairly worn out of DMing, and as such I took that as my call to be a DM. I said that it was a gestal...

I really hope this is game is good. We probably need a Pathfinder killer and move the fuck on from DnD. As good as 3.5 was in it's elegance and splendor.

Oh wells.

So I need some character advice. Still pretty new to Pathfinder and 3:ed overall. I had to make a character on short notice and decided to whip up an archer cleric since I had heard good things about them, but now I'm starting to rethink my choice. Part of it is that as I read more about them it se...

It's not like I'm just going to give up the idea of giving the Dwarf some unique racial mechanics, along with the Elf n' stuff. I'm just not going to do it like I did there. Something a tad bit more interesting, while not being finnicky. But I'll probably won't do it until I get a few years experien...

https://mcarchetype.wikispaces.com/Crow+Druid I'm gonna join up in a game, and I want to see if this archetype could be pimped out or not. I wonder if there should exist a condition that summoned monsters materialize within a standard action or a full action. Considering that combat lasts for 3-4 rounds (during typical play), it is probably a waste of actions. On the other hand, summoning monsters is a waste of an action during that tu...

Through maybe what some might call cowardice, and others reason. I have decided to give up on the idea entirely. It's simply too clunky for me to really work with, and it isn't really fun at all. I remember how tedious picking out pathfinder traits is. It's essentially like that.

The reason why I've included that in, is because... No damn reason at all, because you don't NEED a rolling mechanic to say "oh yeah, my character may have siblings in his backstory!" and all you do is limit the backstory on the rare chance a player actually wants siblings. Well yeah. On ...

I'll meet you half-way and say that I was giggling about it. But, the effort is sincere though. I thought I could really ramp up the dwarfishness, while returning them back to their Nordic routes a bit. That and to avoid the "Dwarfs are all the same" schtick. And what part of that was 1d2...
