I heard something about a wonky initiative. Is that a real problem, or just fakeness?

Shadowrun 4e House Rules

My gm has decided that the next game we play will be Shadowrun 4e.

I sense this forum generally likes the game (at least compared too 5e).

I hear that there are some very good house rules though, so anything I can send to my GM?

D6 Space-Is it any good?

Im looking through the D6 Space books, and so far it looks alright. Anybody played the system before? What are its flaws, and what are things to watch out for? I also hear its based pretty much on Star Wars D6 and so I heard there where some kind of Wookie STR problems. Do those problems carry over ...

Why do "Retro" games sabotage themselves?

Im looking at stars without number, and its a solid sci fi thing, with some fun organization mechanics for those that like that stuff, but why does it follow "Retro" to the limit? Why does it have some stupid Thatc0 combo that requires you to have lower armor values to have better armor. A...

I think that Cygnar and Khador are the more popular factions.

Hordes falls far behind Warmachine in Popularity, however Legion of Everblight still dominates from it.

Answer is I don't know.

Oh, not for assassinations. For upkeep removal. If you want your super large infantry unit to keep functioning forever, loosing one person to make the rest loose the upkeep spell on them is generally always worth it, and thus worth 3 points. Its a retarded effect of upkeeps and the way they work but...

or the "fuck you Cygnar, JUST BUY FUCKING TRENCHERS, everything you get is now for FUCKING TRENCHERS" splat book. Those sort of game changers. Don't worry. Now its "Fuck you Cygnar - Buy more Mercenaries!" Also now the pendalum has spun around to Khador and cygnar being mediocre...

If they had professional dodgeball where people dodged jets of water, goddamn rocks and fireballs on a platform a dozen or more feet above water I would fucking watch that. Anyways the last season showed the world has underground cage fights too so Elemental MMA will probably become a thing in thei...

Did somebody say Dungeon Logistics? http://mangafox.me/manga/dungeon_meshi/ Check out this manga called Dungeon Meshi. Fundamentally its about cooking and eating monsters in a D&D style multilevel dungeon facility. But it also goes into physiology of the monsters, and the logic that keeps the du...

I don't particularly like the Dreamscarred ones. I use other third party materials for my spellcasting to tone it down.

But of course I can't find decent martial arts replacements (And I don't care for Path of War).

Anybody got any ideas?

Im new here, and I just want to ask the general consensus about Pathefinder.

I know the game is poorly designed and led by hacks, but I always come back too it for some reason. I guess I enjoy 3rd party content it generates.

Does this make me a bad person?

A thing you gotta know with Russian folktales is that they are often sung in song. So in a sense the heroes journeys are like new stansas. Thats why Russian heroes often repeat something over and over in greater numbers EI: And so the cat broke through the bronze net, the silver net, but not the gol...
