I fail to see what a ranger can do with poison that a trained assassin cant, but I suppose its time for Glaivas to finally contribute to his own rescue mission.

I figured it was more like dragon>pegasus>snake>tiger>dragon type of deal, hence why i opted for a neutral, as opposed using an animal themed strike, since the actual attack-to-animal logic can only be guessed at But at 1 spirit point its probably better to try nail one of the assumed proper combina...

I like that we are too incorporeal to block a hit, but not incorporeal enough to phase the attack.
I guess our head and torso are more solid than our hands.
Thats a very unique level of matter consistency we are sporting.

Anyway - pegasus + kwon flail.

Dragon tail worked when he was baiting a punch with the sword scabbard and block+slam worked when he was using the kusarigama. Techically both these choices were the correct ones for different situations Block also worked when he jumped at avenger with a stick - the offensive option led to being str...

A magic-8-ball would have a better chance of finding the right choices.

Lets sing the ninja-no-chigiri.
Or the "ask a ninja" theme.

This bears a haunting resemblance to the 50/50's that plague book 5 during the battle - the correct choice cannot be deduced by rhyme or reason, just a crapshoot all the way. Although i managed to ace it without dying on my very first reading - just choose the most defensive tactic from your advisor...

Weird. I always used to have that useless turncoat executed in my book 6 plays, and now she waltzes in without explanation. Did the authors think no one would take the execution route? Thats a pretty ballsy assumption. As for the arm...id think she wouldnt try a deception so early, makes more sense ...

Whats wrong there Eris - ran out of cloudkills to cast on the party?

Anyway, flash powder needs to be ignited to work and cassandra knows enough about avenger tools not to let that happen.

I vote for a needle spittake

Holding a shuriken doesnt make standing like a doofus in the open a smarter idea.

These could just as well be allies, so waiting on the aggresive actions is a more prudent choice.

I read my first way of the tiger books way before i picked up fighting fantasy ones. When playing talisman of death, i thought the mention of orb and the tyutchev cameo were a weird but not unwelcome throw-in. I would have never imagined this book would draw so heavily on the events from another ser...

So cobras will strike on 9+, 11 if blocked
kick will strike on 10+,12 if block, but will do +2 damage.

I think we need to find the throw that isnt an auto-fail.

That said, im voting "Dragon Tail"
Since its 'dragon', as opposed to 'tiger' it might stand a chance catching him off-guard.

Repeated forked lightning's succeed at 10 or more.
Well, im stumped.

No vote.

FYI, by avoiding the -modifier traps, Avenger can start book 3 with +3 kick&+2throw or +2kick&+3throw

Going for repeats on used moves leads to game overs with Yaemon. If the chapter is different it could just as well mean we do worse.

I miss out *one* vote and you guys get us killed. So much for our flawless run. Im gona go with demanding for help. Grabing her will probably result in getting bitten from the snake on her neck.

Between kicking and following - grabbing and kicking are both the agressive options, so following the principle "which does not belong", Im gona trust in reverse-honesty

Claiming that was ''revenge'' for 2 murder attempts is too generous. At best it can be called a prank. I have an eerie feeling that whatever is in that armor will be immune to poison, but the other option is the obvious fail and I dont think "set it on fire" will work all the time Needle i...

The shape of tunnels is no basis for speculation on the intelligence of any monsters who may or may not dwell in them. PETM finds such generalizations both assuming and offensive.
