Re: Discord Server for discussing D&D 3.5 and Stuff that's compatible with it like Tome and Pathfinder
Given that discord channels tend to be more like general chat rooms than organized threads with tables and structure, I think there is zero risk of them replacing the non existent discussions we aren’t having anymore. Right, I call that the final nail in the coffin. Discord is fucking worthless for...

We're just preemptively locking people out of threads before they even start, huh?

Re: The imminent collapse of the liberal-conservative consensus.
Attempting to do anything to try to kill the democratic party is pointless. The democratic party will last as long as the oligarchs think they have to keep pretending to have elections. And when they no longer think they have to pretend, it will not be because the revolution is coming, it will beca...

Re: Minion power transfer I guess?
If you aren't allocating numbers or guidelines to that your discussion is over in a short paragraph of short sentences and putting in an extra paragraph of wank on every piece of fiction you can warp to barely just fit this narrative is a pointless diversion. I swear, you consistently write multipl...

Yeah, siphon discussion from here and try and pull people into your little server so they stop posting here.
Case in point.

Re: Minion power transfer I guess?
Is the plan to make a rule about lieutenant availability/power? Even a GMing adventure building guideline about it? Do you have any such things already that you work with or will this inexplicably only be for "power transfer" situations? If you did, how, or even why, would "minion po...

It's not that big of a deal since we were able to handle it by throwing the item he was bound to into a bottomless pit, I'm just mad because I got sucker punched after talking shit and my DM rolled really well. We didn't actually have any way of fighting it, but clearly the situation resolved itself...

Fighting a ghost at level 2 elicits the same reaction from me as when we got a bodak thrown at us at level 3: How the hell are we expected to survive this?

Re: Random 5e homebrew
Wait, so the first encounter in a dungeon is rated Deadly for your party's level, you decide to YOLO the whole dungeon anyway, and it's the module's fault that you nearly TPK'd? Cool story. Oh no, the dungeon was full of goblins and shit. The ghost was just some dude at the end whose (apparent) dir...

Re: Random 5e homebrew
Fucking Frost Maiden. I got my ass OHKO'd by a ghost in some mini-dungeon right outside of one of the towns. I think it was a mine or something? Cleared right through the rest of the dungeon and nearly got TPK'd since we were level 2. Gotta love modules.
