Re: Eagle Eyes MacGee

One idea I entertained was to play a Gnomish White Paladin(Paladin of Murlynd, see Dragon 306. They're interested in technology and are allowed to use guns) who rides a medium-sized Equine Golem from the A&EG as his bonded mount. How hard would that be to make legal?

Re: Early Level Survival ... with an Arcane Trickster

It's all about concept. If I want to play a character who can sneak around while pulling off cool magicks, I don't want to be told no because there's a wizard in the party who can buff my rogue. A rogue who can be buffed by an eager spellslinger is NOT my concept. A rogue who can use magic IS . The ...

Re: Early Level Survival ... with an Arcane Trickster

1075924193[/unixtime]]However, if you really want to cast spells and Rogue around, you should be a Rogue and take Leadership at 6th level. It gives you better Roguing and Wizarding at a lower level.Or you could be a Wizard and take a Rogue sidekick instead - you end up with much more of a caster em...

Re: Why does non-masterwork Platemail exist?

I think that mundane Full Plate shouldn't exist anyway. Historically, your high-end heavy armors were custom built to fit the buyer specifically.

Re: Not even D&D: Mordheim Stuff.

I don't play Mordhiem per se, but I did buy the starter box. This was what taught me that I don't like GW games.

Well, that's not really true. It's more that I don't have the dedication left over after RPGs needed to play GW games.

Re: Poll: What's in a Race?

As far as the standard PHB races go, I think humans are probably just about as good as the non-crappy races. I mean, I suppose I can agree that elves and dwarves come out a little ahead practically(They certainly do numerically), I've just not seen elven and dwarven bling come into play during the a...

Hello. I've come here to corrupt your minds, destroy your dreams and taint your precious bodily fluids.

Or to talk about D&D. I can never remember which. Anyway, Hello! :D

Re: The Sacred Fist: Revised!

Hello, I was directed to these boards on a different thread and I'm looking around a little. [br][br]Now, I get the idea that Monks and other unarmed combatants have this problem affecting things that cannot be affected by normal weapons. If you're homebrewing a new replacement for (insert unarmed c...
