It's worth noting I don't think ALL WizOs are bad. WizO_Unicorn is easily one of the best moderators I've ever seen for a website, ever, and I still stay in touch with her.

...it's worth noting, of course, that they fired her.

Not to mention WOTC trolls are even worse. Once, on the WOTC chat I had someone openly discuss his sexual fantasies about torturing me, killing me, and then raping and mutilating my corpse because I was a munchkin. The admins said it wasn't actionable, because "Munchkin" was not an insulti...

I would suggest starting with one of the two most popular series. The Death series about... uh... Death. He's the grim reaper, but he's actually a really lovable guy. Honest. Lots of thoughts about death, the afterlife, and human nature. The series goes as follows: Mort -> Reaper Man -> Soul Music -...

Tome of Battle and Spell Compendium are the two books I refer to the most. Red Hand of Doom was also a surprisingly good adventure, despite Frank's scathing "review".

If it's bigger than 3x3 I want to be climbing up and down that motherfucker like it's Shadow of the Colossus to kill it, not smacking its ankles. So far that's something that D&D hasn't offered. Can I just say, thank you for that idea? As someone who's planning on running a 5-headed hydra as 5 ...

Right. And that means if one of you rewrites the spells, and one of you rewrites a class, both with different goals, you end up with something that fulfills both roles, and is flat-out overpowered. Something has to be done about it.

May I make a suggestion? It seems you have several people all working on blasting powers and related effects, with no actual collaboration before hand. It would probably be a really, really good idea to make a general "Blasting powers" thread first, list all the changes and all the new pow...

The Barbarian Multiclass is as you noted daily. In general 4e makes daily powers stronger. Obviously, daily should be stronger. But should one feat be outright better than another? Without extended Spellbook, each time you would gain a daily or utility power, you choose two, and may prepare either ...

5. Various broken abilities that demonstrate a lack of playtesting and/or willful disregard for legitimate concerns (Orbizard, Demigod epic destiny, rangers soloing Orcus, and so on). - Orbizard is a problem, as I've noted. Demigod is only really a problem at level 30, which isn't so bad as your su...

4) Sourcebooks should have a little something for everyone. I highly disagree here. In my opinion, books should be specialized and self contained. For example, Martial Power was damn near perfect, if not in power, at least in aim. Everyone in my group playing one of those classes bought it, there w...

From what I've heard, the Mouseguard game is actually pretty good. Maybe not the sort of crunch-heavy stuff we like, but I've heard it's streamlined, and made to be especially engaging to new, particularly young roleplayers. I was actually planning on buying it, until I saw the amazon price.

Or go halfling hurler and spazz out with like a gajillion acid flasks. It has Acid Resistance 10, but you're doing 33 damage per shot these days.
Or better yet, holy water.

So, for the third Leviathan type, I had a thought. What about instead of a bug-person, we had a type instead based off of the New Jersey Devil and gargoyles? Tall, brutish creatures, with wings and claws. They hide in forests well, and can camouflage themselves (possibly with a stone form), and have...

There is no justification for these attacks. ...
