Remember when Erf World updated with actual comics about a miniature war game instead of 2 pictures with 17 paragraphs of cryptic naval gazing?

Pepperidge Farm remembers.

The real highlights of Forbidden Arcana are: * Romani tradition, which lets you soak drain with Willpower+Willpower. * Draconic tradition, which lets you summon any spirit (theoretically including Shadow spirits, Shedim and any other spirit not bound to a metamagic) and soak drain with Magic+Willpo...

So in session 2 Shipbreaker enters the scene, an alien hiver (kinda like a 5 tentacled starfish with 5 fingers on each tentacle and 5 eyes on one set if fingers). Anyhoo, Shipbreaker's player really didn't like the idea of paying a mortgage for 40 years to have a working starship, so he elected to g...

As a small update we are now in session 4. Enderminion has been exiled from 2 of the 3 systems he has visited. Mostly for doing violent things in secure places. In the first sesion he took a job to blow up a cargo hauler. So he bought some plastic explosive and went to the downport to catch a spider...

that creates the problem of first move advantage lumping all NPCs together can lead to the enemies alpha striking the party before they get actions or vice versa. and it goes the other way as well, with PCs nuking their enemies before they get to act. Remember, the DM has the monopoly of unlimited f...

A beguiler with the Apprentice feat to select extra divinations who PRCs out to snag Mind Bender at level 6 and the Mindsight feat. i mean, that's a valid life choice, even if kaelik will never ever let me use mindsight because he hates it when i have fun.

I'll tell ya what I don't like about many action economies: going faster granting more actions. Weirdly this slows down the game and makes a fast character seem slower. The solution to that is that faster characters should be able do do more with their one action; don't give multiple move actions, j...

In all of the one (1) actual dominions 4 multiplayer game I've played, that diplomatic messaging and posturing was the best part. Though I will admit my sample size is too small to know for sure.

I also find it hilarious that your super low quality ancestor simulator went full recursive and generated an even lower qual...

I bet everyone $1 that Dom5 won't have the one thing it always needed: an actual system that enforces Pacts and Treaties (see Alpha Centuari for a model of how it can be done). That's a pretty harsh bet K. Everyone is a lot of people; seems like if you lose you'll be out ~7.5 billion dollars. My st...

Well, your first point is wrong. Spells are how you do intresting things in 3.x, and unlike feat bloat they are modular enough to slot into any full casting preperation class. And all the intresting monsters interact with the spell system through either spell like abilities or just straight up havin...

1e expidition to the barrier peaks was explicitly a crashed space ship, filled with "magic" wands and wonders. Technology indistinguishable from magic anyway. Kinda makes you wonder if detect magic dosen't detect magical radiation but actual ionizing radiation.

And you should look into animate objects and their animaged objects, specifically their scalibility and util...

RETRACTED

So this is an official retraction by me: this was a dumb idea, and I've felt bad about it since uploading it. I'm not going to delete it, because that would also be dumb. What I will say that I no longer endorse this class as a thing that should be written unironically on a character sheet, ever. So...
