Re: 2024 Election Thread
I moved to Canada in 2018. I think it’s time to see what citizenship will actually cost me.

The actions by the Q Queen of Canada make me want to support the real Queen of Canada. And I hate the royal family. I'm kind of glad I never heard of this, but I kind of feel like I should be following this. I'm curious of any of her cultists are aware of the utter failure of the sovereign ci...

Re: [5E] Warlock Patron: The Pied Jester
I think getting auto advantage on attacks against anyone you Eldritch Blast with Art of Pies and Japes is a bit much. Warlocks taking Eldritch Blast and Agonizing Blast is pretty much the gold standard for a 5E warlock, and granting advantage seems like a bit much. Since you're already doling out Vi...

Re: Breyer Fucking Resign Already You Sack of Shit
Breyer will probably live until January 21st 2025 and then die immediately just to spite democrats and will never retire, but at this point he definitely won't retire until after the midterms and republicans get their permanent Senate Majority since they are rewriting voting laws to guarantee perma...

What was the process on that? You coloured over top and removed some of the layer?
I'm used to trying to get that final effect by dry-brushing on top of a darker layer like in your second picture.

Re: Breyer Fucking Resign Already You Sack of Shit
I'm just waiting for the Republicans to gain one (or more) Senate seat in 2022, for Breyer to die early in 2023, and for McConnell to break his record with Scalia and refuse to move forward with the appointment for over 600 days. "We just had an election, but we need to let the voters decide tw...

It looks like 5E is including the Cock Hurler in Tasha's Cauldron of Everything . Well, not really. They explain how you can change the appearance of the spells (without affecting the mechanics) to add flavour. Apparently this dude likes his magic missiles to look like chickens. I immediately though...

Any guarantee that the next Trump will be useless as well as evil, though? Likely, no. Trump showed the world the GOP voters will run straight off a cliff chasing an incompetent authoritarian with congress cheering them all on. I think the whole experiment of Trump was largely an accident, but they...

For the last 2 1/2 years I've been living in a remote First Nations community in northern Ontario. We're here because my wife has been teaching the grade 1-4 class. Last Friday, my wife was released from her contract, essentially for mental health reasons. The job became significantly more stressful...

Trump met with Michigan GOP state legislators in an effort to flip the state's vote . Michigan's results are are certified by a four-person canvasing board consisting of two Republicans and two Democrats. If they deadlock, the GOP-controlled Legislature would then select their own electors, possibl...

Also, if no monsters can see you when you start the level, the original games usually had a small room or corridor, possibly so you can save the game once you've finished a level before getting into another gunfight. But those are quibbles. Some of the levels start you right in a firefight. Episode...

Yeah, trying without Brutal Doom lets the shotgun work (though, shame, I look the Brutal Doom stuff). I did beef up both shotguns. The pump shotgun does about 50% more damage and has a noticeably tighter spread pattern. It makes it a much more useful medium-range weapon. The double barrel shotgun g...

I don't think I ever ran out of ammo at any point, was that supposed to happen? I pretty much only ever play on Ultra Violence, so I have to be more careful. That being said, the city level is brutally tough in spots for me at that level. Talking about this mod makes me want to start working on it ...

Ok, was playing it with Brutal Doom (in retrospect maybe shouldn't have, but I started it so I finished it that way) using GZDoom, easiest setting. I should try it again without Brutal. Yeah. That'd eliminate any bugs that I wouldn't be able to account for. Hopefully the shotgun works. Part of the ...

Ok, downloaded this (had some problems before), think I like this better than your other mod. Quite a different take on the game. Thanks. It's actually my first mod. I still have a lot of work to get it finished. Life sort of got in the way. It's meant to be a lot more about forced resource managem...

First of all, thanks for the feedback. Ok, tried this out (on lowest difficulty), got killed by a Hell Knight (or Baron of Hell, get those mixed up) in the second level, but I'm not a hardcore gamer. Did you do all of your playing on this difficulty? I'm curious based on some of the comments. I play...

Thanks, everyone. I'll probably get the three core books, as I'll likely get roped into DMing 5E within the next year, anyway. Unearthed Arcana is not a book in 5e, it's a column of playtest material they put out. Good to know. Thanks. Unfortunately, 5e design runs to monsters being sacks of HP and ...
