Re: Frank & K Ruleset SRD
There were none of those in the links or filenames. I retyped all of the links, and they're working fine for everyone I asked now, including those using FF.

Re: Frank & K Ruleset SRD
I have absolutely no idea what's causing that. On the version of the document I have here, the links check out. I look at the website, the links check out. I visit those specific pages... it checks out, and they load. Any ideas as to what the problem is?

Re: Threads that make us Laugh, Cry, or Both
Depending on whom you ask (mainly the sheep who follow Frank Trollman), Pun-Pun is based solely on the flavor text of the Sarrukh's ability, and not on any actual game mechanics. [br][br]I can gaurentee 100% that the sheep comment was aimed at me, despite the fact that I don't post on ENWorld or ev...

Back after business, sorry I haven't checked in sooner. My "alpha test" game got derailed, so I've shelved this a bit.[br][br][br] I suggest you devide your weapon mastery ability into many subsections. [br][br]This was the plan at first, dividing things into "Roguey/Assassin" &q...

SAME Drakonas
For a while now, I've been working on a little side project - converting my old D&D setting to SAME, and writing up a whole new system for it. I've got the first draft done, currently found here (due to my 'good' webspace not letting my upload...)[br][br]http://www.geocities.com/dragon_child12/[...

Re: Arcana Unearthed, worth it?
[br] Most DMs use encounters that cause the game to become MORE imbalance, setting it up so that spellcasters can excel above other other roles. But isntead of blaming themselves in addition to the RAW they place full blame on the RAW and its makers. Untill people realize that the DM and his campaig...

Re: Game Design Theory: Handing out Abilities
Crissa, I have a feeling we're in agreement, but talking at a cross to each other. I understand what you're saying. I need stuff for benchmarks. I'm going to have benchmarks. However, I am not going to have a LOT of generic abilities - I'm going to get what I need for benchmarks, and then use those ...

Re: Game Design Theory: Handing out Abilities
I understand that's setting flavor - and in case it wasn't clear, that's part of the thing I want to establish with the system. I want to build the system and setting together, rather than just have one tacked on to the other, like they seem to be in so many other games. When I say "The Ice Mag...

Re: Game Design Theory: Handing out Abilities
[br] Another option is to divorce the abilities almost entirely from the flavor--i.e., everyone can choose "single target ranged attack" if they want, but some characters will write down "Mighty Longbow" and others will write "Scorching Ray" or "Eldritch Blast"...

Re: Complete Mage Critique & Review
Unfortunately, the Nauseating Fist is specifically a necromancy attack. So it doesn't work on undead nor constructs. I don't think there is a point to it.

Re: Complete Mage Critique & Review
Frank, I'm going to have to disagree a bit on Ultimate Magus. Not because what you said doesn't work, or it's bad, but because, well, it's pretty much just using the Word loop all over again. The Ultimate Magus isn't really the problem, so much as the Sublime Chord is.

Ok, so I started tired and ranty. The perfect mood to be in while reading a book. I ended up surprised by Complete Mage. Re: Frank & K Ruleset SRD
Ok, ok. After thinking it over, I'll add Elothar and Seeker. While I knew that the Ninja of Gax was largely I joke, I thought Seeker wasn't meant to be played due to a comment K made, about it's ability to aim fireballs towards the ground to get better area.[br][br]In any case, I'll be adding those,...

Jester has a misprint in the class chart -- "Annoy the Gods" is listed twice. [br][br]Fixed.[br][br][br]As to BBR, Seeker, and Elothar. From what I understand, Seeker was just a joke, and has abilities that wouldn't really work out in play, while Elothar was just an example. I'll add them...
