Credit/loan people don't really pay much attention to laws (which are basically written by credit/loan people, anyway). I remember when my restaurant went under, I'd get calls repeatedly asking me to pay back loans on things I'd never purchased. It didn't matter that they could never produce my sign...

I'm just pointing out that even the heaviest gold coins from actual antiquity came 40 to a pound. So, his 'reality' argument can suck it. That's my entire dog in this fight. Actually, ancient Egypt had a number of coins minted at roughly an ounce. Eg, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SSXWvM5aa50 Most...

Dayumm, that's funny. You definitely have to hold your nose at some of the goofiness of the Skyrim world. What's missing in those ads is someone to complain about the terribly bad healing in the temples. Sure wish I could remember names, but the temple in the central city is ridiculous--there's guys...

I'm fairly unimpressed with shouts, too. I hardly ever use them (there are a few caches that are impossible without shouts). It is funny how 'real time melee combat' has yet to work in any game. Does anyone know a turn based game with good melee combat? I can think of a few flip books that were kind...

Question about ability score drain and damage...
If a creature is immune to ability score damage, would it also be immune to ability score drain? Is this different between 3.0 and 3.5?

@Frank You can call a massive shortage of goods and widespread poverty an economic sucess if you want to. You are still wrong, but you don't seem to mind. You left off the massive starvation and that Moscow's phone system, installed pre-Revolution, was largely intact (and unchanged) when the USSR f...

Quesadillas are pretty easy...you can get the flatbread and pre-shredded cheese in the store easily enough (and instructions for quesadillas are on the back of the bread packaging). Get some deli meat or wahtever if you want more than cheese. Takes a few minutes with a skillet, and you can eat one w...

You must be reading a different comments section. You must not have clicked on the right link. Basically nobody seems to buy that events happening years after Hitler came to power can be legitimately associated with the rise of Nazism. Allow me to assist you in the process by clicking on the link f...

That they post rambling power fantasies on message boards? Yes, I have 100% proof that they do. I in no way trust those people with anything I would classify as a weapon. -Username17 But what makes you so certain they really are mall cops? Everything else is all-but-certainly rubbish, so I'm rather...

Yeah, test prep is big money--you don't have nearly the competition (nobody takes a class on the SAT in school), and 100% demand (all students take it), and you have Mommy and Daddy paying for it. It was $25 an hour a few decades ago, and I didn't see all that money either (only did it for a little ...

Just for fun, I decided to tutor advanced math courses this semester, at what I thought was the ridiculously high rate of $35 an hour. Ok, not all for fun, between the new roof ($6000), and a bunch of upcoming expenses (including a new AC at $7k or so), I figure a few extra bucks would be a good ide...
