Why not just give them a handful of hit points? By mid level, most players will have attacks that deal 5 points of damage fairly reliably. Give 'minions' 4 hit points, so that most every attack will work, but not so low that players can do some "deal 1 point to everything" silliness, not t...

The adventures. The only thing that's even remotely tempting about Pathfinder to me is the adventures. All rulesets are quirky and require effort to make work dependent upon the players involved, having adventures for the ruleset gives me one less thing to worry about.

Crud, it all sounded completely unworkably insane until that last line, which sounds all too credible.

4e's dropping sales require action. I predict Summer 2012 at the latest, with books available at Gencon 2012.

There will absolutely be something to buy in 5e by GenCon 2012. At least, that's what my crystal ball says.

Heck if I know, but every hobby shop I've been to has a stack of 4e hardcovers, and sooner or later the prices are going to come down...buyer beware, and all that.

Ah, a classic strip, definitely seems to fit with K's worldview.

Somewhere I have a religious tract that lists the character classes as fighter, wizard, and rapist.

Try going for a long walk after working out, go to Wal-Mart and walk up and down every grocery aisle if the weather won't let you outside (bonus: you get to learn the layout of Wal-Mart in detail). It won't help much with the arms, but it'll at least keep you from getting too sore to walk. I trust y...

I'm sorry Frank, but no: If we let A be Alice observing a positive spin and B be Bob observing the spin at all, then we apply Bayes Theorem, that P(A|B)=P(A)*P(B|A)/P(B). Since we know that Alice's actions a light year away aren't going to make Bob any more or less likely to follow the schedule and...
