I actually think that Bob the Builder came out before Obama's campaign.
But I never heard of any plagiarism cases regarding the phrase either way.

Kaelik: when whatsername killed Sirius, Harry tried to hit her with the Crucio curse and it just hurt a little bit. She told him, gleefully, that he would have to actually hate her and want to cause her pain, not just be angry. Yeah, but then he later uses it on some Death Eater who spits on McGona...

Look, its pretty clear that Molochio is on the autism spectrum so we can cut him some slack there. Some. Ugh. To be deliberately dispassionate or disconnected from typical morality structures, in the medium of fucking plain-text no less, is not a sign of mental dysfunction. Not to mention that bein...

Getting rid of WBL takes care of the problems of being able to break the economy (since magic items become things that can't be bought under most circumstances), and I have no problem if adventurers can buy castles and armies at high levels, because in the end you're still an adventurer, making it n...

Stone Tell. 10 minutes to cast. But more importantly: what the hell is a stone going to tell you? What senses do they have? How intelligent are they? What language do stones and rocks speak? I mean, yes, I'm assuming Terran for the last one, but the rest of the spell's effects are firmly planted in...

At least the space opera race thread hasn't degenerated into the morality of inter-species sex and whether it would be like dog-fucking to have sex with a single member of a hive mind or if you are required to have a three or moresome to be okay. By the way, that wasn't an invitation to do so. Plea...

Oh, I'm not doubting that a experienced DM couldn't handle it well, I'm just talking about most that I've experienced. I was mostly talking about poison and zombies and crap like that. I fully expect any that any even somewhat competent DM can make it so that any artifact of Good will cause some cra...

Alternatively, play a better game than 3.5. Example? Mutants and Masterminds, FATE, 4E, Wushu, Shadowrun, Warhammer, Call of Cthluhu, Gamma World.... I don't know about the others, but 4E is definitely worse than 3.5. And its skill system is particularly bad (the skill tags are better than skill po...

I'm well aware of that; my point was just that he did say one thing while doing another. And I'm not going to deny that Jefferson did a lot of good for the country; he did far more good for us than bad. Although, I have absolutely no clue why freeing people would cause a rebellion; generally it prev...

Yeah, and Thomas Jefferson spoke against slavery while keeping a lot of slaves himself. Which is frankly a lot worse than what you're accusing Gore of. But I don't see you stating any criticism of Jefferson; in fact, I'm pretty sure you've praised him before. So, there's a pretty good chance you're ...

Looking back on old threads about evil on the Den, I found this fairly relevant quote: Absolutely nothing. In fact, when I played through The Red Hand of Doom, I did so as an Evil character. Most of the rest of the party was also Evil. We still fought for the human team because we got more money tha...

Nobody gives a fuck about Mussolini. True, however Mussolini was an Italian. I'm pretty sure that's a type of monster. Me and a friend of mine (we are both part Italian, which is probably why we ended up choosing Italians) actually came up with a whole writeup of that a while ago. But I don't remem...

Actually, you can get +6 racial to Dex if you are a muckdweller (Serpent Kingdoms) or jermlaine (MM2). You're also Tiny, which means that if you take ranks in Hide you're pretty much invisible. Jermlaine works for maxing out Wis as well, as it also gives a +6 Wis bonus, but anthro bat is definitely ...

A few moments from games that were memorable: In one of the first games I DMed, I made a novice mistake of allowing the Savage Species Shadow in my game. And it was optimized up the wazoo by the player. However, it led to what is widely considered by my gaming group to be the best moment in any game...
