Also, who would even consider a job offer (if you can call it that) presented by such a dickwad ? I mean, what respectable publisher or developper would think it is a good idea to ask someone with such a wannabe conspirational tone to deliver that message ? I would also state that to believe someone...

No True Scotsman would get pissy if you held the door for him !

EDIT : I find that old people also tend to take it the wrong way when you do stuff for them. "Why are you offering your bus seat to me ? You think I'm too old to stand up ?! :screams:"

cause we totally haven't effectively colonized space with space stations and the like... Space station =/= ecosystem. Also, they are completely dependent on Earth resources for subsistence. If you want to keep the colonization analogy, they are more like advanced outposts than full-fledged colonies.

Create one?
I don't nearly care enough to do it, it's just that TV Tropes has got a page for damn near everything, but not for Revolver. I'm just surprised, is all.

Up until 5th grade, I lived and went to school in an inner-city neighbourhood, where a few fights inevitably broke up every day. That summer, my father received a promotion and we moved out in a well-off suburban area where I was picked on constantly for not fitting in, me not being a spoiled brat a...

I would, but only if I can waste my time simulating life on Earth through VR dolls instead of working on the farm.

Once while walking down an Indianapolis city street I saw a yuppie in a Mercedes SUV tailgate, honk and flip off a cyclist. The cyclist caught up with him and took his side mirror off with a kryptonite lock. Ballsy but the asshole deserved it. I really need to try that sometime. A friend of my dad ...

I have been requested to speak with you about your skills and talent. No, this does not come from anyone inside CGL. Trust me that will never happen. It comes from another source. I find that particular bit pretty fucking hilarious, you can really tell he's aiming for the ol' KGB recruiter tone, bu...

I'll admit to having never read the book of mormon, but I highly doubt it contains anything along the lines of "Blessed is he who steals the wealth of non-Mormons." You sure have to forgive them if they do though. No need. They haven't taken any of -my- money or work. All I've lost on thi...

Now that you mention it, I'm pretty damn sure he's Jason fucking Hardy.

Guy Ritchie's Revolver. It's so fucking awesome. It pisses me off that everybody knows about Snatch (probably because of Pitt's pikey character), but just about nobody (that I know) has even heard of Revolver. I mean sure, Snatch was a fine movie, but Revolver is so much more layered and intelligent...

Don't you have a bike ? You can cover up about 15 miles in an hour if you're not too out of shape, and it's free. It might be a good solution for you, especially if you live in a weather friendly area like California where you can bike pretty much 12 months a year.

You guys (and girls!) are all idiots ! The man has got sources ! Sources which are unimpeachable ! Why won't you all suck it up and accept everything he's got to say ? He's an EXPERT at detecting truth and intent over the intertubes, and it was TOO EASY for him ! You can't win, ACCEPT DEFEAT !!!

What. So they offer universal health care but not universal dental care? Please elaborate on this reasoning.
It's the same in Canada, or at least in Quebec.

I am from Canada, so it would actually be free, but I would have to wait something like 12+ hours, and that's if they agree that it would be an emergency. I actually managed to coax my way into an emergency dentist appointment this morning, I'm scheduled in a half hour. I'll try and get him to try s...

Incredible toothache

Last year I had a cavity filled on a wisdom tooth (didn't need to get them extracted apparently). I guess the filling didn't last because I am currently barely able to eat or drink, never mind anything cold or sweet. I have a dentist appointment scheduled on August 25, because when I took it, I didn...

If there's a difference in the number and order of metamagic you would pick up depending on whether you only have 2 initiation upgrades to play with ...

I think it's totally hilarious that revealing metaplot elements (GASP!) is a bigger offense to some people than defending and working with fraudsters.

Priorities, priorities.
