Re: 10th level issues
Indeed. I just want to make sure that that is what the DM has in mind.

Re: 10th level issues
Allow me to ask it again: how will be handled mechanics based solely on XP costs, like the Kensai's Signature Weapon?

Looks like this is the only meaningful way to handle the situation.

Re: 10th level issues
On skill points: I am damned tempted to scrap the idea of cross classed skill points altogether. I am willing to entertain either apprentice levels or "just not worrying about it" as a workaround for the level order disparity. [br][br]Getting rid of cross classed skill points looks pretty...

Re: 10th level issues
[br] Rules Problems: [br][br][*] Number of Skill Points - A Rogue 1/Bard 9 has 86 skill points. A Bard 9/Rogue 1 has only 80 skill points.[br][br][*] Cross Classed Skills - A Fighter/Rogue who buys Disable Device and Ride every level is exactly the same as a character who buys 2 ranks of each skill...

Re: My PC.
If everyone's cool with having me in the party, I'm interested in playing. I prefer playing levels 7+, though I don't really mind playing at lower levels. Actually, I believe at lower levels people will enjoy each other's gaming style much better.[br][br]I'd even co-DM if I have enough time to do it...

Oh, please do. Give in to your instincts.

Re: Persistent Spell and Extend Spell
There is no problem with Twin Spell. It means. You cast. Two Spells. That solves itself. [br][br]Actually there is a problem with Twin Spell, and that's even more evident when you try to apply both Twin and Repeat to the same spell. If you claim sequence matters even just "sometimes", you...

Re: Persistent Spell and Extend Spell
The least complex way to combine metamagic is to say they all work together. So a Twinned Empowered and an Empowered Twinned Spell would have the exact same effect: 2 empowered versions of the spell. This isn't at all broken, so I'm having a hard time figuring out your complaint with it working lik...

Re: Persistent Spell and Extend Spell
And then the crap you make up won't be the same as the crap I make up, so there's definately going to be some huge arguments the first time these are used. [br][br]That's a possibility, though this kind of stuff, just like any other rule, is told up front way before we even get to the table and beg...

Re: Persistent Spell and Extend Spell
Interpretation #3 is only possible if we go by "gut feelings". [br][br]I prefer calling it "common sense", although it's true that it's unfortunately subjective to some extent.[br][br] What "part" of a spell does Twin Spell effect? [br][br]The "base" spell it...

Re: Persistent Spell and Extend Spell
Interpretation #3: When multiple Metamagic Feats that effect the same part of the spell are applied to the same spell, each only applies to the base spell. [br][br]This requires you to interpret each component type as a different "part" of the spell, but that is the way I've always done i...
