Objectivism, as purported by Ayn Rand, if you're not some insanely-talented person, you don't count. I suppose, ideally, it could be a meritocracy. This is incorrect, objectovism is absolutely not really meritocratic, there more about standing on your own two feat. You can be mediocre so long as yo...

This basically is an attempt to make both the fighter and the artificer into a viable class A Crafty Fighter loses proficiency with heavy armor and his first and sixth fighter bonus feats. He gains item creation, artisan bonus, retain essence, skill mastery and craft reserve as an artificer. A craft...

Also, they could be looking out for their descendants (can't remember if they reproduce asexually or not) to help give their lineage some distinction among aboleths--and score improved bonuses for negotiation, because they've been there. They are Asexual as they lay eggs and then fertilize them, wh...

That's honestly what I was thinking. Rangers, if they had to have spells, show up in my head using those spells in conjunction with other things, like bows. You could borrow class features from the arcane archer, or make a ranger friendly version of the class. Honestly though what kind of class mak...

Enemy Casters 3.5
The warlock is pretty much the class to use as an enemy caster minion because it does not require a lot of thought to set. However I was looking for tips on building enemy sorcerers with unique spell lists as to make fights for the PCs more interesting.

Aberrant Philosophy
Some Aberrations like grell, etherguants and beholders (in eberron anyways) are described as philosophers. What philosophies would they likely take interest in and how can I better play this idea off.

I intend to ban prepared casting for my campaign.
What would be the spells known progression for the paladin and ranger?
Also what class features would they have to trade in to have the same amount of spells per day/known as a bard?

modifying the core races
Hi I was having some trouble with fixing the racial stats of the core races and am looking for ideas. Humans are versatile but bland, they do exactly what they are supposed to. Dwarves are awesome armored characters and gnomes are awesome mages use these races as examples of the power level I'm goin...

Yeah I've just decided screw the eberronian pantheon lets just include all the gods from any setting. Lady of pain is still a godslaying but silent ruler of the plane of Sigil which is much larger and is a plane of constant construction filled with ruins upon ruins upon ruins. Summer+Winter are caus...

No, but it overwhelms the fact that I killed hobos. Like how Abraham Lincoln jailed opposition in the Union (violating their basic rights), while also socially and politically leading the USA to defeat the CSA. His achievements overwhelm his problems, so people call him good. http://www.youtube.com...

Thelanis isn't timeless, is it? I thought that time just ran slower there. If you spend time there and leave you age rapidly and become ravenously hungry except if you are a native. And so generational exposure to the plane would slow aging and metabolism. The idea is sound, but since Thelanis real...

I think I'm getting rid or Irian, it is a farily useless plane with nothing of interest on it and it's where those retarded deathless draw their power. I've decided to place a very potent manifest zone with Thelanis over Aerenal, due to that plane's timeless quality and connection to the arcane it h...

More generally, if your total net contribution to society is actually zero, you are not neutral. Goodness can't be achieved simply by doing your work on time and never molesting any children. That's neutrality. That's the state of your life being no more or less valuable than any random dude off th...

Playing 3.5 with 4e races
I already consolidated many skills in 3.5 to be more like 4e.
I really like how races are handeled in 4e, though I hate how classes are.
Is there anything I would have to do to make 4e races playable in 3.5?

Hey, I've decided to merge these two cosmologies together and was asking if anyone has tips on how to pull this off. So far I've decided -Yes the gods are real and known to exist, however it was long ago decided that gods cannot leave their respective domains or directly interfere with the concerns ...

Of course, one of the big problems about Lawfuls is that, upon entering a new society, they probably don't have a full grasp of it's culture. This inherent side-effect upon Lawful characters creates a second facet of Lawful personality, the need for understanding. Naturally, Lawful characters suppo...
