Unfortunately, if Vampire is the flagship franchise the Technocracy should probably be eliminated entirely. Black-suited G-men who erase evidence of the supernatural, using what looks like high-tech gadgets, is something that should exist though -- it seems like it fits right in the with the "...

Might I suggest that "I'm gonna hold my breath until we get single-payer health care." is more issue-focused. That being said... even if 100% of Americans suddenly decide they want Bernie right now , he won't be president until 2017 , and the Senate won't meet to vote until tomorrow at th...

Now, how hard you should work to please that segment, I don't know, but it's probably not much. On the other hand, for an OSR, it should probably be done whichever way is the more old-school way to handle it. I started playing D&D at 3.0, so I don't know what that is. Per rule negative somethin...

That's a good point. If treasure is randomly determined at point of looting, there needs to be an explanation as to why the thing you're taking it from want using it, and whatever expansion you go with will have in world consequences. "It's a magic sword. The gnoll used it because it's slightl...

So, you're concerned that the crafting minigame will eat the rest of the game and suddenly D&D will be Atelier d20.

Heroes in most traditional stories "usually don't advance from zero to legendary blademaster over the course of multiple grand adventures the way RPG heroes do" because they usually don't have multiple grand adventures!

If Trump finishes 1st in the delegate count or popular vote and is not the nominee - which could easily happen if the breakdown is something like Trump 35%, Cruz 30%, Rubio 30%, and Other 5% - then not only will he run, but he should run. I mean, I hate the guy and everything he stands for, but if ...

That's not exactly what they said -- they claim that their primary concern is that adding tribe tags to spells "made the cards wordier and caused more confusion." But there is an example of what you're talking about: MaRo has said that if he had a time machine, he would make Instant a supe...

Now I know some knucklehead in R&D decided that putting tribal tags on non-creature cards would make things more complicated. I know that had to be it, because tribal tags on sorceries has been a thing in the past. They said basically that: For those unaware what happened with tribal, let me ex...

Let's take a look at some history: When the party of adventurers comes into contact with enemies, game-time no longer follows a sequence of turns (rep- resenting 10 minutes), but is measured in rounds (representing 1 minute), subdivided into six-second long “segments.” The order of events is as foll...

If a demon has a 50% chance to summon another demon just like it (but the new one can't summon another), then you just mark its CR 1 higher than it would otherwise have been without that.

It's that simple.

Speaking of police states, the trucker protest in Russia continues. A small trucker camp is standing at the parking lot of a hypermarket in Moscow. The attempted blockade of MKAD failed, as the police stopped them. No one has been arrested, but TV is pretty much silent about the whole affair. In re...
