AC and Dex
This is an old topic but I can't find a comprehensive chart as to all the times when you lose dex to AC.
d20srd or phb page# would be ideal but you guys can just tell me though.

Blind, cowering, flat-footed, grappling, helpless, attacker is invisible, paralyzed (because they are helpless), and stunned.
Blind is easy to remember because it's basically reverse invisibility.

No chance of that. There's a bunch of stuff like blink that simply says in its own description that it negates Dex bonuses and isn't tied back to any generic game state.Cynic wrote:yeah, I know about most of them but I was hoping for a single link that I can just give someone playing an assassin. But, this will do.
Thanks guys.

Or like how you have to read the Balance skill to find out that trying to balance with less than 5 skill ranks makes you flat-footed. You wouldn't even know that spells like Grease and Sleet Storm can cause affected characters to lose Dex-to-AC without reading the entries for the spells, the balance skill, AND the flat-footed condition.
