Less well-to-do parents tend to pick more unusual names for their kids. That's an actual tendency. So unless a baby is named Poopsie Dear Fartgood, it's what their parents do with them after naming that counts.

My cousin knew a boy named Pepsi Dacola once.

His parents thought it was hilarious. He didn't.
He jumps like a damned dragoon, and charges into battle fighting rather insane monsters with little more than his bare hands and rather nasty spell effects conjured up solely through knowledge and the local plantlife. He unerringly knows where his goal lies, he breathes underwater and is untroubled by space travel, seems to have no limits to his actual endurance and favors killing his enemies by driving both boots square into their skull. His agility is unmatched, and his strength legendary, able to fling about a turtle shell big enough to contain a man with enough force to barrel down a near endless path of unfortunates.

Zak S, Zak Smith, Dndwithpornstars, Zak Sabbath. He is a terrible person and a hack at writing and art. His cultural contributions are less than Justin Bieber's, and he's a shitmuffin. Go go gadget Googlebomb!

I check mine regularly, but it hardly helps about the bill that bounced because AT&T wouldn't pay AT&T nor would they explain this to BofA, who was left with a few thousand accounts where they were paying AT&T, but the address changed, and the old AT&T wouldn't refund until the new AT&T had reported you.

It was really frustrating. A huge dent on our record because AT&T wouldn't pay AT&T.

My mother once encountered a child named by their parent "Shithead"

Supposedly pronounced shi-thead

yeah, Lewis Black has a bit about names like that. something like 5 kids exist named "Shithead", then there's Asshole ("Ash-ola"), and Abcde ("Ab-se-de").

More truth in that than there is on the Post-Gazette sports page lately...
"But transportation issues are social-justice issues. The toll of bad transit policies and worse infrastructure—trains and buses that don’t run well and badly serve low-income neighborhoods, vehicular traffic that pollutes the environment and endangers the lives of cyclists and pedestrians—is borne disproportionately by black and brown communities."

Ross Douthat trolls against gay marriage.

Took me a second read through to find the insults against me, my mother, my best friend, my sister-in-law, my fiancee's sister's family and Superman that he hides in that poisonous defense of his "Western ideal".

The best idea is give the kid an unusual name that can be shortened to something normal.

You don't have to name your child something like Lemonjello for it to be different.

My son's name is Giovanni. Yes, there are other Giovannis out there, but they are few and far between in the United States. And if he wants to go with John, he totally can (I think it's lame, but whatev). My name, Hadley, isn't very common, either.

And yeah, I had my childhood tormentors. Amazingly enough, they found something to call me without having to slaughter my name (Medusa, for my short, curly hair).

I'm not telling people to name their kids Temptress, but you don't have to go with Emily, either. A young couple we know just had a baby girl, and they named her Scarlett Rose. I think that's perfectly bad ass without being in the Top 100 names.

I suggest you don't go "Brencis" either.

Pow, right in the kisser.
Documents say he confessed to the crime, telling troopers, "I was trying to make him act like a boy instead of a little girl. I never struck that kid that hard before. A one-time mistake, and I am going to do 20 years."
Fact: Infants are known for their gender play. To prevent homosexuality from developing, it is best to beat them at an early age in order that you might instill into them the proper love of vagina.

White House Press Secretary tells Democratic Party base to go fuck itself.
Among Gibbs' comments: "I hear these people saying (Obama's) like George Bush. Those people ought to be drug tested. I mean, it's crazy."
Yeah, that is crazy. Dubya actually, you know, catered to his party's base.

It's pretty easy to cater to a party base when its core value is "let's keep everything exactly the same."

What the hell are you smoking? The conservative agenda isn't 'keep everything the same,' it's 'turn back the clock.'

W very successfully enacted a program of regressive policies that significantly altered how Americans live today, and he did it proactively, and his base loved him for it.

Fine. Statement retracted. But I still maintain that it's easier to placate a base of group-think regression than one of progression. Especially in the Republican party where if you aren't marching in lock step you're essentially ostracized.

Pretty much. If Obama doesn't fix things, he gets whined at. If Bush fails to change some policy, his base isn't going to really abandon him.

So it's okay for people to act like fuckwits about conservatism but it's not okay for me to claim that liberalism is disconnected from reality? What a load of fuck.

In fbmf's defense, he's not singling out one side, he is saying "Enough with the political commentary". As in both sides should shut their yaps.
