So, this guy that writes some really bullshit books wrote a big blog post accusing Lovecraft of plagiarizing some obscure Theosophist. It's obviously a bullshit trolling post by someone that's made a career of writing occult-pop-culture pap, but it gets a lot of hits and pisses me off. So this is me tearing it apart brick by brick in a rebuttal. It's painful to read, but then it was mind-numbing to go through it, and now I'm pissed and angry and want to punch this guy for being an ignorant fuckwad. grr.

That being said: it's quite an exhaustive take down of the original article. Of course, the original article was just flinging baseless and stupid accusations against people who can't defend themselves because they are dead in order to drive up page views. I'm not sure doing more than just shaking one's head sadly at the original rant was required.

He jumps like a damned dragoon, and charges into battle fighting rather insane monsters with little more than his bare hands and rather nasty spell effects conjured up solely through knowledge and the local plantlife.
