Well, Sundays at least, I'm usually out playing D&D, and frequently watching the Stillers, and drinking beer for 8-16 hours.
Saturdays I usually just don't post because there's rarely anything new and interesting to respond to.

"But transportation issues are social-justice issues. The toll of bad transit policies and worse infrastructure—trains and buses that don’t run well and badly serve low-income neighborhoods, vehicular traffic that pollutes the environment and endangers the lives of cyclists and pedestrians—is borne disproportionately by black and brown communities."

I find the discussions here tend to go way over my head, and I can learn more by just shutting the hell up and listening.

I don't have internet at home.
Re: Weekend blahs
I almost exclusively post from work - I don't have much free time at home.
You can't fix stupid.

I played like 7 or so Living Greyhawk mods this weekend and got to chat much DnD. I checked back every now and then when I got home but was too busy or tired to post much anywhere.
I passed out last night with computer in my lap when contemplating the messy build for my latest character who will wind up as a bard/barbarian/wildrunner/mage of the arcane order/sublime chord... very messy. Hopefully will be quasi-effective at a variety of levels in a variety of different ways; however, I'm prepared for the possibility that it will have been a lot of work to simply suck.

I feel the same way. As in, I can learn more by just shutting the hell up and listening, not that discussions go way over your head.

Re: Weekend blahs
You missed an interesting party. We watched Leprechaun 4: Leprechaun in Space, followed by Leprechaun 5: Leprechaun in Da Hood, The Muppet Movie, and some really bad soft-core porn. The key was: every time you asked a question, you had to drink.
We ran almost completely out of booze by the end of Leprechaun 4, and as a result we had stopped playing by the time the Lep in da Hood came to do no good. This was fortunate, because the number of questions being flung around when the zombie fly girls came to play was astounding. It would have been drinks all around.
All around.

Re: Weekend blahs
We were doing that Saturday just to cartoons on TV - Everytime Naruto said 'Believe it!' or someone asked a question about Luffy, we drank.

Jesus, you guys know how to party. I'm living on the wrong end of the US. Preferable to the middle though.
Re: Weekend blahs
Well, it's not like we drink while we game ^-^
Though, perhaps Frank could give you a taste of the green stuff in this cupboard...

Re: Weekend blahs
Considering I spent most of yesterday ankle-deep in shit mucking out a pump station, I don't think Frank's green stuff could be that bad.
Pass that crap over here. (Oh right, opposite side of the country. Never mind.)

Well, I will say it does have a high alcohol content. And would be quite appropriate for someone who needed a bath...
Actually, I think Frank instructed me never to mention it in his house again. At least, in his parents' house, where it might be in reach.

...Besides, I don't think I ccould actually remember what it tasted like after a month or so; it's rather indescribable.
