D:OS does have one thing going for it, in terms of roleplay: the opportunities for your characters to converse, with you playing both sides and letting them argue and stuff. It feels like a group of people having an actual conversation (even if they do end up deciding things via Rock-Paper-Scissors), rather than one designated player character calling all the shots and speaking on behalf of the legion.
But the main reason you play it is definitely for the tactical combat aspect, and combining effects.

It doesn't help that a bunch of crap is buggy and mechanically opaque. Poor Leliana probably gets screwed by it the worst. Unless you're dealing with something that has mondo resistances a naked Morrigan casting single target nukes on autopilot is enough to absolutely crush Leliana in damage output even if the latter is geared up way ahead of schedule thanks to DLC.

Well, I've been playing some more WH40K Armageddon, and my Steel Legion Armored Fist regiment has morphed into a force of space marines, Imperial Guard artillery and superheavy tanks, and Titan Engines.

In many ways it is the antithesis of dark souls in gameplay. The concept of bloodborne involves basically everything being super offensive minded and reactionary. So, Torchlight 2. I just started and am building a bot engineer. I have a couple questions, a lot of guides I've read said Onslaught is the shit but I would need a melee weapon. I prefer cannons. Is it really vital, or can I have a cannon?
I did notice there's a sword at higher levels that boosts pet/minion damage. Is there a similar cannon that does so? Just wondering.

You can probably find a cannon at some point with a random boost to pets, but I can't point to a specific legendary one that does precisely that.
If you go through on Easy, you should do just fine with a cannon. Alternatively, if you're using the Synergies mod (which is a bit harder in terms of enemies attacking you), a lot of things are tinkered with for balance, so you should find that you can do pretty well with a cannon build. They're loads of fun for clearing minions out (or in Synergies, for hitting the seven Elite monsters attacking you at the same time).

Oh, look at him being all fancy with his social life and friends. Thinks he's too good for us just because there are real people who actually exist who will talk with him, as opposed to us imaginary assholes.
Anyway, yeah, the main benefits are:
-Level 1 of any given ability comes online earlier, but Level 2, 3 etc. come online later, rewarding the branching out thing.
-It adds in the Respec Potions, so it doesn't even matter how you fuck about with your build.
-So much end-game content, holy fuck is there a lot
-New classes (Necromancer, Warlock, Paladin. MORE LIKE WORLD OF TORCHLIGHTCRAFT 2, AM I RIGHT?), and though I've only played one of them any real amount, the Necromancer, it is a delight to play
-Even crazier end-game unique/set items
-You will be balls-deep in enemies the whole time. They are everywhere
I enjoy the Nethermancer class (its own mod, not part of a bigger project), which has an interesting mechanic where casting spells raises your insanity, which worsens your casting ability but makes you more of a combat monster, so you sort of switch styles as you fight.
Some recommend the "Enemies just flat-out don't drop items you wouldn't bother picking up" mod, too. I think there are a few, one of them just makes better drops happen, the other merely goes "Okay, it was going to drop something that's too low a level/insufficiently magic? Don't drop it, just save memory". With the ability to tick the kinds that it ignores - broken/crap, nonmagical, regular magic, anything short of legendary/set.

So, i have been playing Cities: Skylines and it is in every last technical aspect better than Sim City - Cities of Tomorrow . .
But somehow, even though it's the superior game, i still have less fun with it than i do with Cities of Tomorrow . .

Bought the dating sim/puzzle game Huniepop. The game is hilarious and fun. I highly recommend it.
