Wapanese Help
I need to know how to say:
"Hello. How are you?"
In extreme Otaku/Wapanese. Not Nipponese, but Otaku fan-speak, hopefully with culturally appropriate grammar. And yes, I am aware of how weird a request this is.

Can't help you specifically.
However, it is recommended to refer to yourself with "ore" and end your sentences with "ossu!" or "daio" or "-iao". Spit out a "kuso" or "baka" every now and then. You'll sound some combination of tough, young, and crude, which at least passes for cool in America/The West, which is what counts.
Or, well, just wapanese.
Here's something less ridiculous: http://www.everything2.com/e2node/Japan ... %2520anime

They look valid.

Hmm. Well, Konnichiwa is "good afternoon", however that'd be the one Wapanese would use for any form of "Hello" as they couldn't be bothered learning Konbanwa, Ohaiyou and any others out there.
Or you could say "Herro", as it seems as though the Wapanese thing these days is to speak English with a Japanese accent.
As for "How are you?", hmm.
I don't even know the Japanese for it. The best I can remember from grade 8 is "Anata wa* genki desuka?" ("Are you feeling well?")
*Feel free to leave the w off the wa. I think that one might be something usually said by girls, thus coming across (from a male) as "ror, he doesn't know what he's saying."
Bonus points for pronouncing the silent "u" in "desu".
So "Konnichiwa~! Anata a genki desuuka?" is probably the best I can come up with.
Anyway, enquiring minds must know: why do you wish to know this?

Shame it has to be the fan-speak.
Otherwise, I'd ask the Japanese student in my Physics class about it tomorrow.

He jumps like a damned dragoon, and charges into battle fighting rather insane monsters with little more than his bare hands and rather nasty spell effects conjured up solely through knowledge and the local plantlife. He unerringly knows where his goal lies, he breathes underwater and is untroubled by space travel, seems to have no limits to his actual endurance and favors killing his enemies by driving both boots square into their skull. His agility is unmatched, and his strength legendary, able to fling about a turtle shell big enough to contain a man with enough force to barrel down a near endless path of unfortunates.

"Is mos non sapor amo grape ut is est sursum vestri butt"
Got it off an online translator...it apparently couldn't translate "grape" or "butt."
Here's the website, if you care

Like I said, use "ore wa" not "watashi". You could start with a loud "Ohayou! Ore wa Gaijin!"

Nobody here knows a full on otaku?
Come see Sprockets & Serials
How do you confuse a barbarian?
Put a greatsword a maul and a greataxe in a room and ask them to take their pick

EXPLOSIVE RUNES!
I only know one person I'd actually apply the insult otaku to, and he tends to either speak English or use full Japanese sentences that are presumably correct. And he lives a very large distance away, as do the few Waps I know.
Honestly, I stopped being Wapanese before it was fashionable to be Wapanese. Same with being Emo, actually. A right shame, because if my timing (see: age) was better, I could have had a lot of sex.
Anyway, as a result, I don't really know many people who are Wapanese, on the grounds that I find them a bit stupid and irritating (though in a harmless way, like a child). And basically everyone I know lives in another state.

koumei, if I understand correctly, you're female, right? If this is true, you could be having a lot of sex anyway, just by your gender. Although it might require lowering your standards to insulting levels... of course so would getting sex as an emo or otaku....Koumei wrote:I only know one person I'd actually apply the insult otaku to, and he tends to either speak English or use full Japanese sentences that are presumably correct. Cuz apparently I gotta break this down for you dense motherfuckers- I'm trans feminine nonbinary. My pronouns are they/them.

I was under the impression that Koumei liked the ladies, which means she has to deal with all the bullshit men have to, so being a woman wouldn't automatically make it easier for her to have sex.
In this moment, I am Ur-phoric. Not because of any phony god’s blessing. But because, I am enlightened by my int score.
good point. It also brings in the fact that the target audience isn't blue...

Correct, and totally agreed.Count_Arioch_the_28th wrote:I was under the impression that Koumei liked the ladies, which means she has to deal with all the bullshit men have to, so being a woman wouldn't automatically make it easier for her to have sex.
I have some female friends that have attested to the fact that lesbians have it rough, yet no more than hetero men.
As a hetero male, I can also attest to the fact that lesbians are a great for learning what women want. Many smoke breaks and after-class discussions in an art major have led to great understanding of the opposite sex.

I've been told by my girlfriend that all women want is for men to know what they want befre they themselves know. so basically clairvoyancy.

I can believe it. But, then, I know--and am around--some weird women.

Myself, I have to try really hard not to smack stupid people.
Like the Late George Carlin said: think of how stupid the average person is. Then think about the fact that half of everyone is stupider than that.
Or something of that nature.
