You might have done it for the purpose of space but the 8.5 X 11 zip file does not have the rules in it. The other one does though.

I got a new computer, but somehow lost this while transferring files. Could a working link or email please be provided?

Also, I think I could program this as a flash game. Interested?

Seconded.

::loves him some flash games::
He jumps like a damned dragoon, and charges into battle fighting rather insane monsters with little more than his bare hands and rather nasty spell effects conjured up solely through knowledge and the local plantlife. He unerringly knows where his goal lies, he breathes underwater and is untroubled by space travel, seems to have no limits to his actual endurance and favors killing his enemies by driving both boots square into their skull. His agility is unmatched, and his strength legendary, able to fling about a turtle shell big enough to contain a man with enough force to barrel down a near endless path of unfortunates.

Nope. I have to obtain/want Manxome's permission to make the game anyway.

There's a working link to the zipped files near the bottom of page two. Just got it myself.
The wiki you should be linking to when you need a wiki link - http://www.dnd-wiki.org

Yeah, I've done a bit of tweaking since the last upload, I should probably put together some new files. I can probably do that sometime this weekend. I've already printed and played several games with the new characters, and they seem to be working nicely.

Does anyone still want the "fold over" versions, or do I just need to update the two-sided card stock versions?

And the flash game has my blessing. I might eventually ask you to stop distributing it in some hypothetical future scenario where I try to sell it, but in the mean time I think it's a cool idea and I'd love to play it.

OK, new files available (same URL). Highlights:
  • New heroes: druid and bard
  • The effects of high darkness are now worse (for the heroes)
  • Changes to various powers (mostly improving the weaker ones)
  • Consumable items have been improved (so you might actually care about them)
  • Ruins and swamp search decks altered; ruins now has more keys, and swamp now has more/better items and powers (hoping this makes them different enough from mountains and forest to justify traveling farther from monastery)
  • Heroes are now permitted to take their turns in any order (because deciding the final battle based on whether the knight is first or last in your seating order was stupid)
  • Resolved the "attack" ambiguity by renaming attack rolls to "fight" rolls (the attack action is still called an attack); this resulted in altered wording on many power cards
Bard and druid powers are in a separate file from all the others, because that's easier for people that already printed the others (and don't care enough about the changes to reprint) and not particularly harder for anyone else.

If anyone needs the other format, let me know...

I put up the print sheets I made for the game way back, with cards sized for CCG-style sleeves. I tried to reorganize the rules a bit for easier grasping by my buddies, and I added some minimal art and some more-than-minimal flavor text to a lot of the cards. In my usual modest way, I'm calling it 'IDN Deluxe.' Tell me what you think (especially Manxome)!

I'm not much at file-sharing, this setup's apparently good for only ten downloads. Let me know if you try to get this and it's run out.
