Peculiar properties of spacetime ensure that the perception of the magnitude of Soon is fluid and dependent, not on an individual's time-reference, but on spatial and cultural location. A marketer generally perceives Soon as a finite, known, yet unspeakable time-interval; to a fan, the interval appears greater, and may in fact approach the infinite, becoming Never. Once the interval has passed, however, a certain time-lensing effect seems to occur, and the time-interval becomes vanishingly small. We therefore see the strange result that the same fragment of spacetime may be observed, in quick succession, as Soon, Never, and All Too Quickly.
From Telltale's Sam and Max games: War (what is it good for).
Context: Max (the rabbit guy) has become president of the United States and has instigated a declaration of war between North, South, and West Dakota because it's an adventure game and you aren't allowed into the War Room otherwise. As soon as war is declared, the deadpan secret service bouncer who has kept you from entering the war room launches into a song and dance number about how much the US (and politicians thereof) love war. It's one of the series' crowning moments of awesome. Oh, and note that the emblem for the country has been changed to a bald eagle holding a wad of cash and a loaded gun.

Sorry about that.
:/
but then again, I saw what the skin gun is on other videos with non-asshole restrictions. Wondering if in a couple more years we'll have liver or even heart guns.

He jumps like a damned dragoon, and charges into battle fighting rather insane monsters with little more than his bare hands and rather nasty spell effects conjured up solely through knowledge and the local plantlife. He unerringly knows where his goal lies, he breathes underwater and is untroubled by space travel, seems to have no limits to his actual endurance and favors killing his enemies by driving both boots square into their skull. His agility is unmatched, and his strength legendary, able to fling about a turtle shell big enough to contain a man with enough force to barrel down a near endless path of unfortunates.

Zak S, Zak Smith, Dndwithpornstars, Zak Sabbath. He is a terrible person and a hack at writing and art. His cultural contributions are less than Justin Bieber's, and he's a shitmuffin. Go go gadget Googlebomb!

Olololol. In the video is a comparison between USA national anthem and a 19th century song "Daring Hasbulat" (written by Alexander Ammosov)

You should gain sanity for finding out that the problems of a region are because there are fucking monsters there.
That's the credits. Such as they are.
YouTube has a pretty tightly-knit atheist/skeptic community, and they collaborate sometimes, so it's only right to give credit and shout-outs when that happens.

Not my favorite parts, either. I guarantee you there's someone, probably British, howling about it right now, though.Longes wrote:No no, not the credits. The whole "writer of this story doesn't know biology" stuffMaxus wrote:That's the credits. Such as they are.

"But transportation issues are social-justice issues. The toll of bad transit policies and worse infrastructure—trains and buses that don’t run well and badly serve low-income neighborhoods, vehicular traffic that pollutes the environment and endangers the lives of cyclists and pedestrians—is borne disproportionately by black and brown communities."
I finally saw Desolation of Smaug the other night. As much as I loved the movie in general, the credits song I See Fire was possibly the thing I liked most (well, other than getting in for free because I showed up 20 minutes late after getting lost on the way to the theater. And the fact that a friend specifically gave me money to see the movie.)
