Was this a joke? This song came out in 1999. It was by Big Beat DJ Fatboy Slim.Crissa wrote:That video is like five years or more old. And it was the official video for that song.

The official video follows the stages of evolution from a cingle cell up to becoming a human and is available on Youtube.

And once you've seen that, watch this
Unfortunately the others by the same user aren't as good, with the blocker ones being like terrible rip offs of Powerthirst.
This video really needs to be experienced. Try to watch all of it, then come up with an explanation. Ultimate Muscle Roller Legend

I like RedLetterMedia's critiques, but the "serial killer and rapist" jokes - which were present in his earlier videos - get dialed up to 11 here, and it's not so much "funny" as "uncomfortable". If he just cut those out, these videos would be golden. Part 5 of his critique is especially entertaining.Red_Rob wrote:I LOL'd
He also does others in the same style, all of which have that great mix of cutting critique and rape jokes that seem strangely reminiscent of the Den.

I found that in his latest video the "Whoops how did my serial killing get in this video?" was actually more integrated and less jarring than in the others. His Phantom Menace review was basically along the lines of "Phantom Menace sucks, heres why, I KILL WOMEN, now some more review", whereas in Clones he has a whole secondary narrative going on. Plus the part where he forces the girl to watch Attack of the Clones with him and she forgets about the kidnapping and starts going on about how bad it is made me chuckle.Ganbare Gincun wrote:I like RedLetterMedia's critiques, but the "serial killer and rapist" jokes - which were present in his earlier videos - get dialed up to 11 here, and it's not so much "funny" as "uncomfortable".
I'm told there's a meme for one of the scenes, but the entire thing is just plain silly: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_K9AxO5t ... r_embedded

It's not a youtube, but this TV program has fairly detailed descriptions - not 'OMG how could this happen!' but actual discussion of how the mechanics we know of the world created these situations.

He jumps like a damned dragoon, and charges into battle fighting rather insane monsters with little more than his bare hands and rather nasty spell effects conjured up solely through knowledge and the local plantlife. He unerringly knows where his goal lies, he breathes underwater and is untroubled by space travel, seems to have no limits to his actual endurance and favors killing his enemies by driving both boots square into their skull. His agility is unmatched, and his strength legendary, able to fling about a turtle shell big enough to contain a man with enough force to barrel down a near endless path of unfortunates.

One of the oddest commercials I've ever seen - Grill-off With Ultra Hand! from Nintendo.

The law in its majestic equality forbids the rich as well as the poor from stealing bread, begging and sleeping under bridges.

This reminds me of the sad time I saw a guy at a martial arts tournament do a made-up kata with a claymore.Meikle641 wrote: Well. This isn't creepy at all.

But I love the justifications in the comments. "This is a call to war against SATAN" and "When they say sword, they mean the Bible!"
