Good job! Clever use of parody to counter a parody!

For the record, I didn't clump you there. I clumped Kaelik there.

I clumped you under the "Thinks mechanical soundness is the only measure of quality" group. That's different. :P

While not as repetitious as Kaelik, the judges think it's pretty much the same kind of failed comedy as Kaelik: Trying to claim the other person is lying when he is clearly not even trying to say the truth anymore because this has become a really stupid bash-fest.

You get an extra point for using funny smileys though!

I would, but people seem to prefer pointless bashing.

So I will continue mock them relentlessly for it.

Well shit...
You expect something different from a product named after the horse that, having been accepted (with the assumption of safety) into the base, bursts open to unleash loads of little men?

Seriously it's like they held a "What's the worst name for a condom you can think of?" contest and used the winner as their brand name.
And here I was, thinking they named it that because most of the people I know who went to USC are dicks...

Hey look, I can misattribute quotes too!

Go be An Hero Zine, and do us all a favor. Or just fuck yourself with an electric drill. Either way.

In before more Exactly as Planned.

Edit: Zine Fail aside, the whole point of the topic that got linked is something like this:

"The difference between having a social skill of x, and having a social skill of x-2 is a completely unsurmountable obstacle. If you have a 7 Cha instead of 10, not only will you automatically fail every social skill check ever, but you will be randomly subjected to DM fiat that you don't care about anyways, because if some dick peasant punches you in the face because hurr durr Cha 7 you have them arrested or kill the damn fool. However, having a -3 to everything you actually care about, by having a 14 primary stat instead of a 20 is perfectly acceptable and by no means will gimp you forever. Even though skills are designed such that you'll shoot straight off the RNG into auto success land if you care even with a -2, and stuff you actually care about is either on the RNG, or at least not so far off it so taking a -3 to everything you do just for existing means you are monster food."

Now I have a plot idea of some sort of evil monsters or monstrous race raising 'livestock' - humanoids with terrible builds, but that aren't random commoners or whatever. These gimps are kept imprisoned because they exist for the betterment of their captors - whenever they feel like it, the captors kill them, and use the soul energy (aka, XP) for something useful (like say, item crafting). Or just eat them. Onnomnom. Or both.

The good adventurers, aka the people that actually matter would not have been defeated by the monsters, they would have been the ones to defeat the monsters.

TL;DR version: Monks are soul food.

I have the same problem - I think many do, hence that request in the past for some kind of "no rapid-fire posting" rule.

Why the fuck would a translator not translate a word, but then splash it all over the screen?

Some of the sub translators are absolute weeaboos.

There's translators out there who insist on making the Hellsing main character's name "Arucard"

And some who insist on calling Sonic "Sonikku" and that emo dude from Naruto "Pein"

The short answer is:

Because they are fucking retarded.

The long answer is, because sometimes, people who know Japanese think the Japanese part sounds much cooler than the translation, but do flash it on top just so you can know.

This works really well when it's the name of a fighting technique, or magic.

Bleach is much better with Reiatsu and Getsa Tenshou then with Spiritual Pressure and Lunar Fang.

It works very poorly with "plan."

Whomever was translating that is just really bad at differentiating between the two situations.

Awwww. Too bad. Your score drops down to 1/10.

You have dropped down to Kaelik's level of retardedness. Next time, add more spice and color. Less boring repetition.

And the winner of this week's Zine-bash fest is PR. Because he made himself look as though the only sane person in the room :P.

Thank you for participating!
