I wear pretty much nothing but jeans...I lead a rugged life, and non-denim pants don't tend to hold up well. Besides, people look at you funny if you show up to remodel their house wearing slacks.
Levi's, Faded Glory, and whatever cheapo brands fit over my cowboy boots. It's...challenging to find non-obscenely-priced boot-cut jeans in my size.

Try cargo pants, they actually hold up pretty damned well, from my experience.

Cargo pants from Aeropostale are dirt cheap, especially compared to Old Navy.
Same quality. Stitching falls apart after about 2 years of physical labor, but by then they're torn and perma-stank anyway. Grey and brown go nice with many collared shirts.
But yeah... jeans are Teh Best.
However, I hate plain tan straight-leg khaki pants from the entirety of my heart, and not just because it's a holdover from Nazi era.
