Don't you get it? That's why pregnancy takes so long. The immediate positive reinforcement of sexual behavior for a woman [should be] an orgasm. The long-term result is pregnancy and birth - which is so far away from the sex act that there's no negative reinforcement there.

I would actually say that given the success of teaching abstinence, the human capacity to deny that anything like that would "ever happen to me" is one of the greatest forces in getting laid.

... but the horny sibling gets to pass down the horny genes (because they physically had sex and their slightly-genetically different sibling didn't), making it less likely that any set of the future children will want to abstain.

Obviously what with human beings being social critters and genes being complicated asexuality wouldn't be weeded out entirely. But there's a reason why most human beings prefer the opposite gender even though only a fraction of the human population actually needs to shoulder the responsibility of reproduction to continue the race.

It's recently occured to me that seemingly just about every woman, or at least half of them, I know has been molested at some point in her life. And my reaction is "What the fuck is going on here!?"

I brought this up with a friend of mine when she was talking about her old game master, who had sexually harassed her and her friend, thus making them not game again for a very long time, and she determined that it's just the way it is these days. She used to have to be walked to and from her car when visiting her brother because she was afraid some horny mexican geezers would molest or rape her. My college campus has a reputation such that it's suggested women don't walk through it alone at night. Another friend was routinely harassed by old mexican guys on her way to school (possibly the same, I don't know). Another molested by her grandfather's friend, or something like that.

What the fuck is going on? Do men seriously have so little self control that I could make a serious business model out of putting out my number to be called when a woman's being harassed and a few friends and I come around with bats to get the creep to go the hell away?

This is honestly one of the saddest damned realizations I've ever had, and almost pushes me from bigender to just mtf transgender out of disgust for my birth gender.

You know some very unfortunate people. The overall statistics are more like one in six.

It is unsurprisingly higher in countries and regions where women have less power. In places with mandatory hijabs, it might actually be one in two, although I don't know if it ever gets that high.

A friend had a crisis because he found out every girlfriend he'd had had been molested by her father when she was little. He was speculating that there's some behavioral thing stemming from that that he responds to and I had to break it to him that it's the universe fucking with him.

There are statistical flukes that happen. And because they happen, there's no reason they can't happen to you. It's sad, but yeah. It happens.

I think more men have been sexually assaulted than those that care to admit it. And I think that men in general have a much higher tolerance for such thing.

Thaty being said, Prak could very well start a business that does nothing but beat people up; there are tons of people that do just that, and there's no shortage of people that need their asses beat.

Keep in mind that lots of people make up random shit, I've had people try it on me. Did not work, but if I was anything less than the helluva guy that I was, my rep would have been ruined.

That said, if you're found guilty of War Crimes, aren't you imprisoned by the Hague in their own prisons? It seems as though if you find yourself likely to be arrested in America then in the interests of your safety you should go balls-out and make a war crime out of it so you have a safer prison.

I don't know how you're going to turn a DUI into a war crime, but based on what I've read today, I think a lot of people would be open to your suggestions on how to make that a reality!

K, here's how you do it: when you're drunk and driving, you must refuse to be pulled over, drive until you find a foreign ambassador or the like, and then commit some act so heinous, that war must be declared, so, rape him while drunkenly (ie, correctly) singing the American national anthem, or something, then torture him. With any luck you can get it declared a war crime.

I guess the question is what exactly is the definition of molestation? Is it genital penetration or does it include groping? If groping is enough, I wouldn't be surprised at all by a 1 in 2 statistic. Of course I live in SE Asia so my view of this might be somewhat different that back home.
