Seconded being rather noted as well, I got it awhile back funnily enough, albeit not on sale...I played that as my first PC game, it was fairly invoking, and glad I remembered the advice of pausing during combat to execute your decisions all at once.

Hell yeah for Bastion, it's one of those games ye encourage others to play, and not SPOILER it for themselves (like Bioshock).

My favourite moment from Bastion so far was actually in the tutorial when the floor started to collapse. I didn't feel like sticking around to see how long the floor would stay up, so I just started rolling past the enemies because rolling was faster than walking. After reaching the halfway point, the narrator said, "The kid just keeps running, somersaulting like crazy," and I just about lost it because Bastion is the only game I've ever played that points out when you're doing something totally stupid like that.

Bastion's narrator is wonderful, and things like that keep happening. There's even a special voice clip for winning a lengthy fight on a tiny platform without falling off once.

Basion narrator VA supplies Bastion-style lines to a wedding for a fan.

Just Cause 2 if you haven't already played it on a console.

If you like wandering around and causing random chaos GTA style, but wish you had a grappling hook, an unlimited supply of parachutes and the ability to jump onto and either stand on top of or cling to any vehicle either by pointing at it and clicking or with just the press of a button (momentum be damned), and haven't played it already, I highly recommend Just Cause 2. Here's some actual gameplay footage: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qU59D6XgP4s&t=3m5s

I really enjoyed Deus Ex 1 with the Shifter Mod, the High Resolution Texture Pack and New Vision, but be warned, the graphics are kinda dated and the AI is pretty dumb.

Also, one of my favorite aspects about PCs is emulators for (nearly, no PS3 or XBox Anything, but there is the PS2 and the Wii) every console ever with save states and fast forwarding.

I haven't really played MOBAs (although my younger brother does quite a bit, so I know something about them), so could you elaborate on this?
