Combat Healing, a poll of sorts.

I'd be curious to see a similar thread like this, but instead of debating Combat Healing, it would emphasize Combat Buffing.

You know, having a caster spend valuable combat actions buffing himself and others with spells like Bull's Strength, Prayer, Polymorph, Haste, etc.

The evaluation of the Bard and his bardsong abilities would be high on this list.

And of course, evaluating the combat opportunity costs of improving the party's threat capacity over actually using the casters actions to help end the threat (via damage dealing, "save-or-die's", etc.)
