I suppose this might backfire if the judges don't go for it. It would in essence suggest that the UK officially doesn't consider the Pope's actions criminal. But if they do procure a warrant. I will celebrate that day for a long time

This site ought to be a up and coming news item. Whether it is the product of tea partiers making an excuse that they can point to or ant-tea partiers committed to false flag operations is unknown at this point.

I think their are primarily two types of Tea-Partiers; the primarily rascist and the conspiracy theorist. The conspiracy type I could definitely see using false-flags to further their agenda. That site could as easily be the work of Hipster desperate to stick it to 'the man', since they support the establishment they have to stick it to someone.

OR it could be both, or it could be neither. I just don't like the idea of purposefully disrupting any political group that are short of fascists. The Tea Baggers can be pretty dumb but their not as bad as fascists (yet).

EDIT:
Having read some of the posts it seems entirely perpetrated by conservatives to facilitate their persecution complex.

Well, from the site I gathered that Hannity mentioned it on his radio program. That would bring in allot of people that had nothing to do with the start of the site.

Also it has hit the Associated Press. Foes of tea party movement to infiltrate rallies

The first posts on crashtheteaparty.org are from April 9th. Jason Levin's personal information has now shown up on a bunch of right wing blogs, all over the course of the weekend. 3 days isn't enough time for someone to make a site, have it found out, and have the teabaggers lock ranks, unless this is a ripe piece of astroturf.

Why would they need special effort to make the tea party 'racist, homophobic and moronic' if they are that already. Maybe an American Dennite should go to one of these teabagger gatherings and do some actual reporting because I don't think MSNBC or FOX does a particularly good job of journalism.

They're asking for donations. It could also be a money making scheme.

This is how terrorists should be dealt with. No torture, no invasions, no explosions, no extralegal shenanigans.

Sarah Palin, the everyday American hockey mom making it in big in politics. She's completely, 100%, totally real and down-to-earth and she's a woman of the people and not in anyway putting up a screen to the world to hide any dirty secrets. Which she doesn't have to hide, don'che'know.

Finer points:

Sarah Palin's contract for an upcoming speaking gig involves first-class air travel, two or three first-class rooms at the hotel where she is being accomodated, two water bottles with bendable straws, questions will be pre-screened and will be asked by a Palin-approved representative to "avoid downtime spent roving the audience with a microphone."

Those all seem like pretty reasonable conditions. She's in high demand as a speaker.

On the subject, when she resigned as Governor of Alaska, people said she was crazy. Crazy like a fox, maybe. Sarah Palin Has Earned an Estimated $12 Million Since July.

To be fair everyone said she was crazy before that as well.

Because you know.

She IS crazy.

No, they didn't. They said she was a lying quitter who was running away from the colossal mess she made of her state. Which is all true.

I don't see why 'crazy' and 'selfish' are particularly immiscible traits, anyhow. Just because you're crazy doesn't mean you can't also be selfish or successfully con people out of millions of dollars.

Republican math -X + -Y = +Z: Senator Judd Gregg, Ranking Republican on the Senate Budget Committee suggests decreasing federal revenues to decrease the deficit. He also suggests to repeal the ACA (which decreases government expenditures overall) to pay for this cut.

New scandal made up to attack Obama, with many right-wingers piling onto this fake story. (via Pandagon)

PS: Favorite quote of the day...
[url=http://pandagon.net/index.php/site/stupid_cant_be_cured_with_a_degree/ wrote:Amanda Marcotte[/url]]spin outrageous theories because they know that the naked truth about what they believe would make them look like giant bigots and big meanies. So, instead of saying, “I don’t want health care reform because I like a system where poor people are shut out because that means I don’t have to see them in my doctor’s office,” they start yelling about the slide into socialism. Instead of saying, “I’m an incredibly selfish person who wants to keep my government-funded Medicare, but I don’t want to see that single mom down the street get health insurance because she’s a slut and I want to see her suffer,” they say that Obama’s trying to take their Medicare and that’s socialism.

Thank you for those, Crissa. I was feeling pretty stupid, then read what Republicans are thinking lately, and suddenly I'm a genius in comparison.

Obama orders most hospitals to grant gays visitation rights

I guess he's using Medicare/Medicaid funding to push it through. I was listening about it on NPR, and of course, all of the opponents were complaining about "sanctity of marriage" and this being "another step of complete government takeover".

Shame on the government for forcing us to act decently to people who are dying and their loved ones. Shame on them from taking the authority to discriminate away from any random homophobic security guard or desk clerk.

I doubt that would work on my cat. Also, money isn't made from paper, it's made from cloth or plastic. These are easier on your fingers and would remove less oils, which would make putting your hand in hot water less painful. Though I don't doubt that thinking about having money would comfort people...

Quote of the day, picked by someone else:

Of course, the first comment was,
chrenson wrote:And if you were to show that Venn Diagram to a Tea Partier, they would have no idea what you're talking about.
Admittedly, single-circle Venn Diagrams are kinda confusing.

Also, another confused, right-wing argument about Religion. "But God and the basis for our laws!" Oookay, but don't our laws say not for the government to promote it?

I doubt this is the right place but...Fuck I hate people who refuse to vaccinate their spawn. I found out on Friday my niece has the measles because my brother doesn't believing and fucking vaccinations.

Just...I wish I knew why he wants to believe in so much bullshit pseudoscience and crap. Vaccinations are only one part of it.

So yeah...Go go vaccinations! Do your part in making the world a safer place!

I believe it was Frank who said that the people who preach about the evils of vaccination are responsible for turning people into biological weapons and thus should be charged for terrorism. I would support such an idea so hard.

schpeelah, what country do you live in?

If you had the misfortune to be living in the United States then you should be well aware of all of the fundamentalist preachers crowing that Hurricane Katrina was God's punishment for the debauchery going down in New Orleans. :gross:

If you weren't, well, I can see how something that dumb can warp your virgin little mind.
