My bad. I figured that after he made such a fuss about taking down his first stupid sexist post he'd stop making them.

You're under the mistaken impression that misogynistic assholes learn...

Scott Adams jumped the shark in 1997 when he lost his shit (and the argument) in a back-and-forth with Zippy the Pinhead creator Bill Griffith. Dilbert's fading cultural relevance is now old enough to vote. Since then, Scott Adams has come out as a climate change denier, a misogynist, a racist, a sock puppet poster, and various other shit. His big internet meltdown came in 2011, but he's been circling the drain of stupidity and irrelevance for a long time.

Image
Scott Adams is perfectly willing to whitesplain to you how this picture isn't racist, right after he mansplains to you women should be less annoying about making less money than men for the same work and then very seriously intones that the characterization of the Republicans as an "anti-science" party are false.

I think it's the comedic timing.

I think it's the way that they managed to show how Scott Adams has all of the flaws that are associated with each of his characters.

Sociopathic Wally, Complete inability to understand how society works Dilbert, and Delusions of Competence on top of total stupidity boss.

They need to start relying on a smaller number of comic strips to insert the dialogue into. Some of them are clearly conversations and the images and new words don't line up very well at all. That last Wally one, though, was perfect: It's putting the words into the mouth of a character we expect to have an insane and self-absorbed worldview and he's clearly monologuing, so it works perfectly. The ones where the words go into Dilbert's mouth don't work as well. He's monologuing in the strip, but Dilbert's a more sympathetic character. A genuinely Dilbert response to the situation would be to analytically explain the insanity of a misogynist position held by Wally or the Pointy-Haired Boss whilst also explaining how his identification with the logical holes in it will affect their belief in it not at all. But that's not something you'll get from Scott Adams' blog.

Is that not supposed to be satire? It seems like panel #2 seems like it's a guy trying to interject on a woman's own personal experiences and #3 is implying that if he doesn't fuck a woman, then that means he'll turn into a serial killer.

Scott Adams actually said all those things, and he wasn't being satirical. The person setting them up as comic strips realizes how fucking shittastically stupid they are, and arranges the comics to look as funny as possible while directly quoting him word for word.

We thought it was a hoax before his kid broke the news. The godfathers of glam rock and heavy metal are dead, now.

Johnny Rotten should invest in life insurance, methinks.

Keith Richards, man. And Ozzy. How did those particular two end up with the phylacteries.
