Yeah, if Orr doesn't see his dog anywhere near him (which is probably the case if he's ahead of the others) he'll fly towards the others.

Hmm. I could try offering the hammer, and if they attack us I could try bashing them in with it. But barring less material things that's the only thing of special value I can think of that we have.

Damn, somehow missed the post about a rat appearing out of the hammer, otherwise I'd have tried to talk to it (or maybe not as trying to communicate with strange creatures has already caused me some wis damage). I thought the rat traveling with us was white though.

Yeah, I'm enjoying this too. I'm completely okay with the occasional hiatus (even long ones). Real life can be a bitch sometimes. Anyway, I'd like to see where this goes.

I was kinda waiting for the original rat to say more about the alternate route.

Also, do we get experience for bravely running away from an eldritch abomination, the masked one and the giants?
