Doesn't surprise me. He actually took the time to specifically call Crissa out in his rant. Although, he probably didn't realize that she doesn't post here anymore.

He jumps like a damned dragoon, and charges into battle fighting rather insane monsters with little more than his bare hands and rather nasty spell effects conjured up solely through knowledge and the local plantlife. He unerringly knows where his goal lies, he breathes underwater and is untroubled by space travel, seems to have no limits to his actual endurance and favors killing his enemies by driving both boots square into their skull. His agility is unmatched, and his strength legendary, able to fling about a turtle shell big enough to contain a man with enough force to barrel down a near endless path of unfortunates.

Zak S, Zak Smith, Dndwithpornstars, Zak Sabbath. He is a terrible person and a hack at writing and art. His cultural contributions are less than Justin Bieber's, and he's a shitmuffin. Go go gadget Googlebomb!

As much as some of the recent story elements are interminably drawn out (Zola'z STILL not fucking dead!), I do really like the castle in GG.

Zola's not dead, but she's out for a bit. Lucrezia has been driving her since she's been in the hospital. So, uh, Lucrezia met herself and reminisced about good times to herself, and passed some info along to herself.

The Zola thing would probably be easier to read all at once than piecemeal.

Maybe. Zola's an actress and has access to all of Lucrezia's memories; she may be playing a long con.

Maxus' sig reminded me of this comic I just found, with a similar depiction of Mario

Weird Al spoofed Lady Gaga's Born This Way and released it on Youtube.

Perform This Way {OK, Weird Al, Parody, Hysteria}

Ignore the intro and outro text - Gaga's disapproval was actually a failure on her manager's part to get her confirmation.

So, I've seen many people of my generation basically degenerate into babbling morons at the mention of The Goonies, because it's apparently just so awesome.

I'm working on "acquiring" it, but I wanted to ask you fine people, what the fuck is so awesome about The Goonies?

Also, recommend movies that you think I need to see, I'm working on acquiring Ferris Bueller and Idiocracy, and maybe Dune, as well.

That sounds like the shittiest list of must see movies I have ever heard of in my life.

I don't consider them Must See movies, I consider them movies I should watch so that I can do more than sit there and listen to friends drool over them. For example, I consider even the original star wars trilogy to be vastly over rated...

[url=http://ascii.textfiles.com/archives/1303 wrote:Jason Scott[/url]]The director, Seth Gordon, is hard at work at a screenplay for The King of Kong, which he will then sell to have a fictional movie made. Or, as I am saying, a second fictional movie, but one where he can see 100% of the profits of the picture without having to cut in any of the people whose lives he just took a galactic dump on. Let me be clear: he fucked these people. He couldn’t have fucked them worse than if he strapped them across a air-hockey table and sodomized them with a Wico Command Control Joystick. He interviewed them, had them retrieve archival footage and materials going back decades, recorded them at their homes, their places of work, and at events that they put up at their own expense and time, and then he painted them in clown makeup and threw pies at them for an hour and 19 minutes.

And by doing this, he fucked me, too. Doors that were open to me and my production are slammed shut, people who would have been interviewed by me freely and happily are now rightfully suspicious, and there are places I can no longer hope to go. Maybe, just maybe after I am deep in my production and I show people footage and where I’m going with it I might get some folks to open up, but the damage is pretty goddamn severe. A documentary that rips entire groups of good-hearted people as shadowy, conniving scumbags with razor-thin morality hurts the scene being portrayed and hurts the people themselves. All this effort, just to turn reality into a faked up drama worthy of a dime store pulp. Yes, I am saying the movie is so bad that it has actually sucked my future movie into darkness as well.

The Daily Show has been rocking my world again. Tuesday night's opening segment was great, and last night's second segment was hysterically funny.

So I spent the weekend burning through Gurren Lagann. How is it possible for something this awesome to even exist without ripping a whole in the universe?

It did, it just happened to open into the Gurren Lagann universe, where it was closed by team dai-gurren. With drills.

I was just clued in to a bit of trivia for the show Metalocalypse.

Whenever any of the band members are dating, the animator makes the women look exactly like one of the other band members. This is done intentionally. That cracks me up now that I realize it.
In this moment, I am Ur-phoric. Not because of any phony god’s blessing. But because, I am enlightened by my int score.

Metalocalypse roxxors hard, especially if you've been in metal band (50 lbs ago I looked GREAT in spandex). I love how the band members interract with their family; the 'girlfriend' episodes pale in comparison. It's a shame Adult Swim doesn't show it as much as they used to.

Went drinking with friends tonight, didn't make a long thing of it, but fun anyway. One friend and I decided to try requesting some out there drinks, she struck out on hers and got one suggested, I think, not sure what it was. I kept looking through thedrunkenmoogle.com, eventually finding something the bartender had the stuff for.

The Negascott is just a really nice guydrink.

The site also has Ramona's Subspace Speed Pass, and Wallace's The Other L-word, however, no one tried them.

Has there ever been an author who has consistently produced a volume of killer one-liners on the level of Shakespeare? Sometimes the density can be exceeded (like the DOOM comic) but when you throw in absolute amount I can't think of anyone who can beat him.

Practically every other page on one of his plays has at least something awesomely quotable.

Your freedom to add and change rules in the middle of the game is in direct conflict with my ability to understand that rules system before I decided whether or not to join your game.

In short, your entire post is dismissive of not merely my intelligence, but my agency. And I don't mean agency as a player within one of your games, I mean my agency as a person. You do not want me to be informed when I make the fundamental decisions of deciding whether to join your game or buying your rules system.

Terry Pratchett is in the neighborhood.

His big strength, though, is...references both within a book, and between other books.
